Julia and Gabriel had a thing years back but they never saw each other again until she became one of his students. This book (and the whole saga bc they are 4) are without a doubt one of the most beautiful, elegant and cult love stories I've ever read, it references a lot to Italian Culture, A LOT about the Divine Comedy and is a non toxic so pure love, the story of Gabriel and Julia is gorgeous and at the start is frustrating but you fall in love with it❤ aaannddd now it has a movie that it's about to premiere on May 29th... I agree with how much characters play important roles in romance books. It's not always about the s*x but more of like the little things/ gestures each character share with their partners and the evolution/grow of every character. I like romance books that takes its time to build that relationship. I'm into the process of how they got together. How their unbreakable after all the things they've been through and by that I'd say I have now decided my fave trope, SLOW BURN. If you haven't read slow burn romance books, I recommend you begin reading books by Mariana Zapata? I love her sooo much. The only author that managed to keep me read all her books. Love them all so much. Anyway, love all your recommendations, I've read most of them. Looking forward for more romance books reco soon. 💜📚

Christina Lauren impressed me. I just finished reading Twice in a Blue Moon. I’m actually a published new adult author and I’m getting my MFA in creative writing. My thesis is a new romance. That’s actually the book that MADE me start reading since I’m dyslexic. Love Jasinda Wilder too-but her books err on the very steamy side, which I adore. My favorite trope to write/read is second chance and jilted bride. Anyway, great video!
