I always thought John Cena was a one tone actor that basically just played himself but holy crap you guys said it but he can act. Like the best moments of his acting aren't even his lines so much but his body language and expressions when he's reacting. That scene you were talking about when they talked about Chris’s dad outside the jail, I also noticed a shot where Adebayo kind of hesitated. I wonder if she did because “parent is awful person but still family” kind of struck a nerve in her because…let’s face it, Amanda Waller isn’t the nicest person… There have been multiple comments about how Amanda is awful from the team and I wonder if that’s gonna come into play somehow.
@ginacontu41312 жыл бұрын
Wow!! was it James Gunn intention to really make the audience fall in love with Vigilante? I mean im still really impressed with John Cena i never like him before but in this show is beyond perfect. I guess i just didn't expect to really get so involved now with Vigilante. Is it just me or does the way he plays with tone to convey his passive aggressiveness or his passion towards peacemaker in way that is pro level. James Gunn probably saw how good he was and knew the audience would appreciate how impeccable his presenting this role the Vigilante role and all the layers that come with it.

i felt like the fight scene between peacemaker and judomaster was purposely filmed and choreographed in a sloppy clunky manner to showcase the fact that both dudes are wounded and not at 100% capacity but despite that still put up a damn good fight. it kind of brought some "realism" to it. i also liked how the flashback scene with chris and his brother rocking out together gives some explanation as to why he has such an obsession with "80's metal". its a connection he still has with his brother, who is quite possibly the only person who ever loved him.

Interesting enough episode 5 promo shows Heyerdahl's character getting hired by Clemson Murn probably to eliminate Auggie Smith so he doesn't spill the beans to Agent Song.
