On the heels of a somewhat successful mission, Peacemaker stops by his father's house to pick up more gear only to learn he's in prison.
Leota is sent to prevent Peacemaker from visiting his dad, but ends up setting a different plan in motion.
Vigilante has become an honorary member of the team and is eager to prove his worth to.....Peacemaker. Let's be honest, he doesn't really care about the rest of the group's approval.
Something strange is going on with Murn and we're shocked to discover what it is!
Following a somewhat successful mission, Murn recruits Vigilante; after learning that the team helped land his father in prison, Peacemaker confronts his complicated past.

I'm so happy you enjoyed episode 4. That seems to be the turning point for most people. Vigilante in that prison scene is just (chefs kiss) and John Cena shows some real raw emotion in this episode proving he really has untapped depths as an actor. The show does have a lot of dumb jokes and dialogue, but I just treat em like dad jokes, they're awkward/stupid, but j can enjoy them for what they are.

My favorite line from the prison scene was the tail dragging line 😆. It’s always kinda funny how people embrace vigilante for that scene but ignore he brutally murders graffiti artists

The lethal weapon interlude was life giving lol! One of your theories was spot on but I won’t say which one. Keep watching, thankfully with the limited number of episodes they focus more on the mission going forward now that we’ve established the various characters and conflicts. That entire diatribe about Batman nearly made me fall out of my chair. Someone had to say it and I’m glad it was random superhero Peacemaker.

I was y'all watching that prison scene. lol I had such reservations in watching this series after the first episode. I wasn't sure if I was up for unchecked racism or racism used for comedy. But I hoped that Mr. Gunn was up for the challenge. That prison scene allowed me to relax and enjoy the rest of this EXCELLENT run.

I think it's very interesting that while the way to recognize butterflies is that they lack emotions, this entire black ops operation needs agents who lack emotions. A butterfly would be the perfect government assassin, they strive to be like the very aliens they hunt.
