Last year, i put my first (and only) daddy Jim on to this band. He taught me everything i needed to know and all i had to offer to teach was new music. This band being one. He fell in love the first song he heard, and after checking out all the songs decided this was his favorite. I never paid attention to the lyrics as i had my fave songs already picked out. We were gling to fly from America to Europe just to see peach pit play as it woulf have been a cool trip as well. Then covid hit and shows were cancled. As the months went on, we continued our relationship happily listening to new music together, waiting for the latest album by PP to drop. In June he killed himself. I went back and listened to this song on loop repeat, mad at myself for not oaying attention to the lyrics. I cant bring myself to see PP with out him. I dont think i coulf even handle going to Europe without him. I miss you so much daddy
