I really enjoyed this interview. I appreciated how candid they were about feeling bummed when not getting X number of plays. It's a bummer because a band may see a low number of streams but what that number doesn't show is how much that album may mean to the people who are listening. There's a band called Yasawa Group - formed by Matt Taylor, former member of The Growlers (who had massive success) - that currently only has 1 or 2 thousand views on his songs. But I'll be damned if I don't listen his album in it's entirety almost daily since it's release back in Dec. 2023. Something about it just captivates me. It's like I want to keep reaching out and reminding him that I just genuinely appreciate his art. Anyway, I'll end this rambling. Thank you for the interview!
