We went to court because the eviction was bogus, and not just for us, but for several residents who lived there, as well. When we got to court, the rental company dropped the case. We moved because of landlord neglecting to make repairs per the ADA (American Disability Act) and of course they submitted erroneous monetary charges (back rent, late fees, insurance, and “damages”) to try to cover up their lies, which we proved.
