Erwin was losing touch with his humanity, whereas Armin was not. Even Eren admitted that he himself was losing it by always just thinking about revenge and killing and stuff, yet Armin cared about much more than that, ergo, the sea/the outside world. Erwin said that he wasn't even sure about what to do after reaching the basement (yes, he could've found a "new dream" afterward) but he ultimately agreed to sacrifice himself, so that Levi could take down the beast titan. Levi realizes this when Erwin unconsciously smacks the injection away, making Levi come to terms with the fact that Erwin's sacrifice was meant to give the rest of the scouts, especially Eren, the chance to reach the basement for themselves. Coupled with Kenny's words makes him acknowledge Armin and how he indeed sees beyond the conflict and is not just a "slave" to something. This is why Levi chose to honor Erwin's sacrifice and finally let him rest.

Eren can see the memories because of his Titan's powers. He can see it more clary than others 9 Titans Powers.

I think at this point Armin didnt see any of bertholdts memories, so he also didnt see the sea; like Eren and Ymir he doesnt even remember who he has eaten in his titan form and Erens first memory of Grishas life before he ate him, was in season 3x6 what was kind of forced by Rod Reiss and Historia and after this in 3x11 bystander where he tried to figure out who it was his father knew (Keith Shadis) and then in 3x19 - 3x21, where he saw his life in Marley, so from this point he needed months before getting any memories of Grishas life

Floch was right

Floch was a great villain. He was annoying, all he needed was a fedora hat to complete his look. But he ALWAYS spoke the truth, his character arc is AMAZING, form a sniveling immature coward willing o defect to a courageous rationalist willing to damn himself for the Island, Floch NEVER deviated. He acted as he preached. I hated his fucking guts but he earned my respect, not a lot of characters like that.

He was an immature coward to the end, all his actions were based on this premisse, making he look "courageous" when he didn't had the courage to view or talk with another perspective besides HIS truth.

I was thinking of subscribing to this channel but seeing that you are not understanding much of the whole background due to being blinded by the appreciation of erwin and also, cutting the conical scene of Eren at the end of this episode, I better not subscribe
