Great vid! I really like your stuff but I still don't get why you dropped the charcoal color option for so many products. All my v1 items like the backpack, the field pouch, the range pouch, the messenger bag etc. are in charcoal. For me this color has always been THE Peak Design Color. Sadly it's gone now for most product lines. Would really love to have it back for upcoming releases. Cheers from Germany! ✌️

We really loved charcoal too. But sadly, it just wasn't a big seller, so we ended up having to scale it back to a bittersweet memory, like that afternoon in the little cafe on the Champs-Élysées, with the warm bread and the red wine served in wooden goblets. So long, charcoal, we'll always have Paris.

Loosening is easy, but tightening is super hard. I have to pull hard to tighten it. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but I'm doling it like Zona, so...Zona rocks by the way.

I own a 5L & 10L slings. Love them, BUT, not easy to bring a large water bottle (20-32oz). Can you guys come up with something for this? Everyone carries water, right?! My son is working on a metal ring / strap (with rudder padding) to go around the bottle and attach to a PD QR plate. Then use capture.

Sent mine 3L back, openings are very difficult to access. I was concerned of scratching my camera and lenses when putting them in this bag. Even the other pockets felt very inaccessible. I`ll go back to my old canvas domke style bag that i`ve used for 25 years.

Nice fun video keep it up But I have one question that I like to ask to Peak design team why is it from 6L to 3L sling bag can only be place on one side of the shoulder other or both side of shoulder because one side of your should is carrying the weight then the other or other people like to carry on the other side of their shoulder???

So here's the thing - I'm off on a holiday and looking to purchase an EDC to hold various small items including a Fujifilm X100V, small water bottle, and glasses. I purchased the Bellroy Venture Sling 6L and think it looks great but is a bit smaller than I imagined tbh considering the 6L size mark. For example, the Peak Design Everyday Sling 3L camera bag - yes 3L - (superbly made also) has almost the EXACT same dimensions, looks able to store pretty much exactly the same amount of items and is extremely well crafted with comparable weather resistance etc - BUT quite a bit cheaper. Why is the Bellroy so much more expensive and named 6L, when the Peak Design of the same size is 3L ??????? Is there something odd going on???

I just got my 10L, which I ordered specifically for the Sony 200-600 mm lens. The lens is a monster (huge), but fits perfectly in the 10L. While there is room at the top for a body, I normally carry that in an everyday backpack or externally using the clip. There is room in the bag for a couple of tele extenders, filters and more. Under the bag using the straps I can store a portable camouflage tent blind. The main use of this bag is to protect the big lens whether out on the road on on my shelf at home. Because there is room for the super large filters required by this beast of a lens, using the bag also for storage of everything related to his lens is ideal, as everything I need for this lens is kept together in one go-bag.

I got the 3L for the Canon R6 and it fits just fine and it's also my everyday bag for work and it fits anything I need it too. I removed the divider and I swear it's an endless void space

Thank you, I got the 3L and I just realised how to propoerly use the divider and found out that I can carry not just 1 but 2 extra lenses on top of my camera and its mounted lens. The bag is great !

Zona is almost as crazy as I am. I've played this clip 3 times now and still cannot decide which bag will be the one I'll order (6 or 10l). I'm also looking at the backpacks as replacement for my old Lowepro Protactic bags I use today for transporting my gear. Looks like I have to watch a lot more clips to decide on what I want and need.

She is the BEST Sales person for Peak Design. My only problem with this bag is I had the first bag And I had my Sony camera and lens attached and my bag accidentally fell on the floor but it didn’t fall hi Fell low to the floor so I didn’t think any big deal until I went on a photo shoot and I went to open my back and the lens was broken on to my Sony A7 III. The bag really doesn’t have that much cushion in case the bag should fall like mind did. Thank God I’ve had a warranty on my camera and on the lens I got it fixed but I would never use that bag again. But I have all of your other bags which are excellent. Keep up the great work. But put some extra padding in case of falls in or you put the camera down a little hard you can’t do it with that back. And please give her a raise she is so funny. My next purchase will be the tripod. You rock.

I have the 6L and I absolutely hate it :( I really wanted to like this but I just can't. I thought you could carry a camera with lens but no. The only "tolerable" load for me is "empty". I'll have to keep using my backpack.

Just got a V2 as a replacement for my V1. It’s nice, and the warranty of of course fantastic, but… Why are there no pockets in the front zipper? It’s just one huge compartment. What would I ever put in there? Especially since it no longer has the expandability of the V1. Without pockets, where am I gonna put my pens and tools? The main area zipper compartments’ pockets are too small for pens or something like a leatherman. Now, I either need to sacrifice valuable space and bring a tech pouch, or my stuff is gonna be banging into each other being loose in the front pocket. Such a disappointment. Like I mentioned, no expandability in the front pouch. On the V1, I could easily bit an entire jacket or a 1L water bottle in there, but on the V2, any large item in the front pouch will push into the main area and decrease it’s size. And lastly, the flap on the main area. There seems to be a trend with the V2 line where the access flaps don’t easily open all the way up. On my V1 everyday backpack, the size flaps would hinge entirely open. They don’t on the V2 everyday backpack. They close whenever I let go of them, which is very annoying when doing stuff like switching lenses. Same for the V2 sling. Let go of the flap, it closes. And it’s impossible to fold entirely open without deforming the structure of the bag. I also don’t really understand why the 10L V2 looks so massive compared to the V2. Not really a usability issue, but it’s still strange. Don’t get me wrong, I still love PD bags over any other, but the V2 really makes me wish my V1 hadn’t broken and I could still use it 😢

I bought 3 peak design bags. I love how as soon as you put your hands on it you know it's designed with great attention to detail. This bags give me the same felling as playing with Transformers as a kid.

As soon as I put my hands on the bag, all I felt is how the outside material scraped off the top layer of my dermis that got imprinted as a semi-permanent stain on the front of the bag. It's got a rigid shell, sure, but there are cheaper bags that are designed way better for actual camera use without such glaring problems, e.g. Moment Rugged Camera Sling.

I tested it in a store a few days ago. It is nice and the padded area on the strap is comfortable but it's not possible to easy move the padded area to use it on the left side, right side, more to the back more to the side quickly. Sure you can adjust the lenghts on the left and right from the padding but that's rather difficult and there is small amount of leeway. Therefore, I am still hesitating to buy and still looking for alternatives...

Nope if you use the v3. It fits perfectly as it is. But if you put big camera, it may sneak peek from its sides. I use a6400 and it's fine
