Great review! I'm trying to make gripping my x100v more comfortable. Right now I'm trying to choose between a thumb grip or this, but this seems more stable and comfortable.

Oh y’a - tough decision! I do think this PD product is better for the 100v than a thumbrest honestly. Cheers

I use the cuff. My X-T5 16-55mm combo is quite heavy, but I've used a big-ish bottom anchor plate as an attaching point and that lets the cuff handle some of the weight of it when I'm just walking - which I love. I have it a bit off-centre (a bit 'south') to compensate for how the strap is a bit long. I even put a bit of hard putty in parts of the anchor plate to make it more comfortable on my spare hand when I'm holding the bottom. It feels improvised but still good - probably much better than the Micro Clutch would on my front-heavy set-up. I walked around for 15km with that combination easily today. It was my feet that gave up, not my fingers :)

About to go pick one up for my X-Pro3✌🏾 I carry my camera in the bag most of the time, so this should be more comfortable than the neck strap.

I think so yes 👍🏼 that said, I still use my peak design cuff a lot more and find it much more confortable. That said, this is good for the ergonomics of the x100 series and XPro series due to the viewfinder position 😊 cheers

thoughts of this w/ the XT5 / which plate to use?

Hello 👋🏼 thanks. I’d go with the L plate (as they advertise) but didn’t test it personally so not 100% sure. They normally are pretty spot on in their tests so that should work. Cheers
