Used to live in this area for 22 years and did this route in 1997 from Ashbourne to Parsley Hay return. The Ashbourne Tunnel wasn't open then. Good to see it open now, particularly as a railway enthusiast. I now live in East Anglia exploring in the same way plus using gliders to explore these landscapes. I gained my gliding certificates in this area 56 years ago. The aerial views are fantastic. John. FAI/BGA 51417.
