Wouldn't that corpse be like seventy years old at this point? Merilwen is 99, so if Simon was a friend when she was young and cats live about fifteen years, then at bare minimum he's been rotting for fifty years

I'm just going by the way she speaks of Simon in the first episode, as though it were some time ago...long enough for her to accept it and master animal transformation, at any rate. Assume she's been with the Oxventurers for a year or so, take fifteen at most for Simon's age and add enough time to get over his loss and master the spell, and it's gotta be at least thirty or forty years since he died. That's my math, anyway. \_('~')_/

@@brentage5000 Wildshape being a level 2 ability for druids feels like it would translate into being something one could learn fairly early in their adventuring career rather than something that takes many years. You're right though, given how long Merilwen's been around Simon could well have been dead for a long time, in which case we can probably assume that the necromancy that raised him also has some kind of preservational quality that keeps affected animals from decomposing.

Okay. I was playing RDR2 while watching this. Minding my own business riding my horse through the woods. The episode ends and Andy comes on "Whoa!" I did two complete circles looking for the guy who was following me because he scared the hell out of me... lol

This is by far my most favorite story episode from Team Oxventure, it's probably the mixture of being not live in front of a live audience with much more time to tell the story better & different change of setting with snow and all that. I love specially the fact having that shock moment with Merilwen and the cat fur + the fearless Merilwen at the end telling the villian how it is. I can imagine that Merilwen end the life of the villian with a piercing arrow shot right through the armor & in the heart. I can't wait for the next video tomorrow.
