Peak Pursuit: Episode 3 - Kunanyi Mountain Run

Join us as we document the trials and tribulations of two amateur athletes tackling the Golden Trail Series powered by Salomon.
For the second race in the Golden Trail Series, Mitch and Kelly got a taste for athlete travel, making their way south to Tasmania for the Kunanyi Mountain Run. Traversing a 25km loop with approximately 1,560 meters of elevation, the summit-return mountain run takes athletes through aboriginal and colonial history and along one of the most challenging and rewarding race courses in Australia.
As it stands currently: Kelly has put herself in the top 20 overall standings with 82 points, whilst Mitch is sitting just out of the top 20.
With roughly two months until The Coastal Ascent in Newcastle, our athletes have some extra time to recover and knuckle down on some quality training.
