I had security! (in all seriousness, it wasn't threatening or scary - the atmosphere was fine and lots of people of various ages as you could see!

Went there the other week for an over night stay, as I couldn’t get a direct flight, no problems at all and I had a drink in nearly every bar after midnight, people just keeping themselves to themselves and having a good time, and yes various ages so didn’t feel out of place being in my 30s.

I went here on holiday with friends 20 years ago. To be honest I would never go back to this part of Mallorca ever again. Very brave of you to walk down there at night. I was in Mallorca last week and had lovely time. Stayed at the Jumeirah Port Soller. Amazing hotel and location. Will definitely return.

@@MallorcaUnderTheSun Hi Alex I was in Mallorca last year and enjoyed….. was going to go somewhere else but thought I would come back. Had a car so got about a bit went to Valdemossa which was very pretty. Went to Formentor beach a few times to swim relax….. also Pollenca. I thought Porto Andrax was very beautiful especially the views from the promenade restaurants. Reminded me of Italy with all the property nestled in the hills / mountains overlooking the Marina. Very beautiful. Porto Portals was nice to visit and walk around also. All in all it was a very nice holiday. Jumeriah hotel in Soller was amazing as was the food there plus amazing panoramic views from the hotel. Finished the holiday with a few days in Palma before coming back home to rain yesterday !

We stayed in a family resort no too far away. I would go for a walk in the mornings down through Magaluf. It looked horrendous. I’ve never seen so many kebab shops ! Actually looks better at night with lights and people.

Was there in 1987 as an 18 year old! Alexandra's nightclub was the place to be. I seem to remember that the strip was full of Swedes (not the root vegetable) 😂 Here via the Macmaster btw 👍

Been going there since my first ever holiday abroad back in 1986, still go every year but its first week in October these days for a few nights. Got great memories of the place and lots of photos. Back in the 80s manos was always rammed a great place but sadly died a death however last summer we went and it was packed again although catering for young spanish now so i didn't know any of the tunes lol but a great atmosphere. No not in the actual strip, that's geared up for the club type scene but at the bottom around the corner sort of thing there are plenty close by such as Sinkys Scottish bar , Benny Hills and many more , I thought to answer you incase Alex hasn't seen this .
