You wonder what fits in the Peakdesign travel backpack 30L? You want to know what can go in the sling 6l and if it's the right fit for you? should you get the sling 3L ou 10L? what are the differences between the small or medium packing cubes? and what about the peakdesign camera cubes? what can you fit inside the travel backpack 30L? Is the capture compatible? does it work well?

When packing any bag out it helps to use a hip belt and sternum strap to redistribute the load evenly. Sadly the hip belt is sold separately with the 30L travel backpack and with the sternum strap it makes a big difference in your carry. I know some people will get different results depending on your size, shape,fitness level and load. Thanks for sharing your honest experience.

Good review, I have the 65l duffel, 45l backpack and the 20l zip. I was checking out the 30l because of the PeakDesign x Huckberry collaboration.

So I patiently wait to see you demonstrate how well the 6L sling fits into this backpack, then when you get to that part you instead show some picture you took somewhere. That’s the problem 😮 have with photographers all showing the exact same so called reviews of the exact same travel backpacks again and again, they spend more time showing and talking about their little pictures, or their cameras or whatever than they do the backpack!

I think the sling does - not the bag (I mean it’s a carry-on yes)

It depends on what airline and who is watching the gate - I have brought it as my only carry as a personal item and placed it under the seat on United flights, the top portion sticks out when under the seat in economy. If you pack it out then it is easier as an over head. I have taken this bag and a wheeled carry one together again with United. It also is was not a problem with ANA.

This bag has 2 flaws. 1: it opens from the back. 2: laptop is not separated from main compartment. if not for these 2 flaws, this bag would be perfect for me. However, I purchased the AER Pro Pack 24L instead.

Worst shoulder straps (not much padding, no load lifters), opening up the main compartment means you always have to completely remove the pack from your back, no side access...what was Peak Design smoking when they designed this? Those designers were more concerned with form rather than function. For a better pack, my money's on the Shimoda Designs Explore V2.

Different needs for different people. That Shimoda Designs Explore V2 is God-awful ugly. Can't hide the shouler straps and is over kill for basic travel. See how anyone can critize anything.
