The acting of every single one of the crew is fucking amazing. I almost started sympatizing with the actors of the "bad guys" because of how well they play their character

Me too, and then the season 3 finale happened... That conversation that Tommy has with Alfie when his son gets kidnapped... damn... as soon as Tommy told Alfie that he had crossed a line and Alfie WENT OFF on him and reminded about all the sons, fathers, mums, and lads that he's killed or had killed or indirectly killed was an incredible acting sequence that was visceral, and I no longer sympathized with them, still loved them and cheered for them, and then started to sympathize with them all over again during that same episode during the final scene when Tommy told them they were all going to prison and started talking about how he had no choice because of the politicians, and coppers, and the Monarchy, and all those other fookin bastuds out there or worse than them and just damn......what an amazing show, so well written and superb casting and brilliant acting all around

Paul Anderson to me does the best acting on the show when it comes to range and arcs. He seems as though his frailties are kept at bay by violence. That is such a difficult thing to pull off that does not appear as forced or cheesy. That being said the show has no weak links and I absolutely love it because my grandmother was a Tinker from Liverpool and it ties her whole way of dealing with life in a neat yet extraordinary package. She was confusing,distinct and powerful force of nature.

I'm a Paul Anderson fan too. Amazing actor and the audience member who asked him to share a little more about Arthur Shelby was spot on in in his comments about the sensitively-portrayed Jekyll & Hyde personas between appalling behaviour yet mixed with a heart-wrenching vulnerability - which Paul Anderson just nailed so commandingly. Hats off. "Right now, I don't know who I am..... don't ask me f^*king intellectual questions....." - that's just so Arthur, and Paul, and most of us. Aye? Ainit? And that's ok for a time. My only problem with peaky Blinders is that every time a cast member 'disappears' it's like losing a member of the family - all of them! Dang! Peaky Blinders is the most superbly acted (and cast, and exquisitely scripted TV show of the era. Everything.. - The storylines, plot, dialogues, cinematography, sets, costumes, direction.. EVERYTHING is done with such love and meticulous craft! Thank you Steven Knight, Helen, Cillian, Tom Paul and much love and thanks to EVERYONE involved for making the benchmark, the landmark Television series of the era - Salute!! P.S. For those who don't know, and contrary to what 'Google'; answers tell you, Peaky Blinders is based on some historical facts, and has some basis in truth, but essentially this wonderful tale is woven from the brilliant mind of Steven Knight and the tales told to him by his mother and father.. I can barely wait for the sixth series.. and at the same time.. never want it to end! Of Interest - Peaky Blinders is very popular in China! I'm adding it as core material for my students next term! 'Peaky Blinders - Doesn't get any better than this.. 'Acting at its very best..' - Exquisite!!!! Choice and use of music too.. I'm not actually a fan of some of the genres of music used.. but they do 'supercharge' the (every) series.. - There's a whole heap of thoughtfulness and mindfulness gone into this.. - a lot of love and a whole bunch of very gifted people - in front of and behind the cameras.. Peaky Blinders - Doesn't get any better than this.'

I watched an interview with Cillian for Radio 1 and he was asked "who made you laugh the most?" And he answered "actually Helen, we had a lot of time together and she made me laugh a lot." God bless you HELEN MCRORY. Aunt Polly can't ever be replaced but apparently the clothes designed for her are now being put on Ada, Tommy's sister. And I've seen the three episodes so far of series 6 and she has OWNED IT and done Helen proud. 🙏 Arthur is hilarious. I loved him in The Firm. He played that part brilliantly. And for those who didn't know, Tom Hardy is married to Caroline (actually I think it's Charlotte lol) who played the love interest for Tommy in series 2/3. I forget her character name now, but yeah, that's Tom's wife...... lucky cow. 😁😁
