Yeah, it was kind of sucky in retrospect, but to be fair to it, we actually *do* owe the show a bit of respect for its contributions to our current Zelda cannon: You'll note in one scene depicted in the video, Zelda actually makes and fires a Light Arrow (4:37). This would be the first time she's ever been associated with the Arrows of Light, predating her doing it in the games (Ocarnia of Time) by over a decade. In fact, this may be the first time the Arrows of Light exist at all, and predate the games replacing the Silver Arrows with them (Ocarnia of Time) by about a decade *again*. So although there's no evidence, one could draw the conclusion that the show may have inspired key parts of the Zelda formula for years to come. And before you say "the arrows in the original game were magically converted from rupees you had!", first the game doesn't say that the rupees are actually transformed, merely that they're used. One could argue that it's just the game streamlining the process of purchasing arrows while keeping how many you have simple to read. Even if you insist that they *are* Light Arrows, then you still owe the show for putting said arrows into Zelda's hands, since in the games to that point they'd been in Link's hands exclusively. Like Zelda 2: you can love it or hate it, but you cannot deny its rightful place in the founding history of the Zelda Mythos.

+SonGara I'm aware, and that was actually my point: they were *silver* arrows up until Ocarnia came out long after this show made the debut, indicating they're "arrows made of silver" instead of the magical arrows of golden light we're familiar with. You could try and argue that they were just Light Arrows by another name...except they looked blue and silver in all the games they appear in, where Light Arrows always look yellow and/or white. So it's more likely they're two distinct things. You're so right about the enemies, though.
