I struggle with leaves too! Sometimes they feel overwhelming. Just think of something totally different as you draw, or listen to a really good podcast or audiobook. Makes the process less painful! x

Did you use mechanical pencil only, or different lead types?

I mostly use a mechanical pencil as its so much cleaner and quicker. but if I dont have one to hand, a normal HB is excellent for sketching in the field.
