Love those Pearl guys and that amazing Nick! Such a great booth this year, playing those drums was a dream!

The pricing for Pearl is getting pretty ridiculous. High end reimagined has become a huge price increase with not a lot of innovation. I will say the new L-arm is cool but again, price is insane.

That I agree on! Kinda wish someday they’d make high end but *budget friendly* drums. Know what I mean?

Wow, Pearl has always been 7/8" pipe mounts, L arms are superior so great job Pearl! I love their stuff.

So after 60 years of making a proprietary tom mount, they decide to make a DW/Gretsch compatible tom mount? I smell another Big Conglomerate buy out!

Why has there been such a spike in price as far as Pearl goes (aside from inflation)? Tariffs?

Ever notice what Pearl would spell if you just crossed the L? I still don't know why he didn't work with them. So many drummers he admired did (and still do). Maybe he thought that would be too cheesy. Or, maybe he just never hit it off with any of their reps, or, they weren't as easily sourced in Toronto. Anyway, they can do good drums when they want to.

Not sure who "Pear" is

@@warrenoids When you cross an L it makes a T. I did not write ''cross out the L''. I suppose you can't think of any well known drummers who were Toronto natives, either, right?
