Pearl Flexi v/s Parker Variant. Vlog#58

The Parker has a big price advantage (30%) but has 2 small shortcomings. 1) The top cap has to be inserted in a certain orientation. In Pearl the top can can be inserted in any orientation (180 degrees) and 2) Parker has a common knob for blade removal and blade setting. So everytime you change the blade you have to remember to turn it to the same marker. In Pearl since the blade setting knob is at the top and blade removal knob is at the bottom, once you set the level at 3 and you want it to remain at 3, you just needs to insert the blade without out having to bother about the setting as the setting can be maintained.

Great video. I was looking forward to this comparison. The comparison of specs was a nice touch. I think if both razors are more or less same in terms of performance then the Parker has a clear edge as it is about 30% cheaper than the Pearl. With the money saved you could buy a set of best Feather or Astra blades. 😀

Great review. I have both razors. I find the Pearl is smoother but when I have a week of growth, nothing beats the Parker with a feather blade for mowing it down. Thanks for helping me practice my Hindi! 🇨🇦

No offense but I would never trust my shave with India razors as it can cut my face ..but blades are good to use like Wilkinson sword..infact Indian manufacturers cut corners n don't both about frictionless coating on razor..which matters a lot to me , international razors care for giving smooth glide n provide various coatings ..
