Pearl Harbor Day Battle Ship Activation

Welcome back to the cannel!
In this video we take a walk down to the radio rooms on the battle ship USS North Carolina. The Azalea Coast Amateur Radio Club activated the ships call NI4BK as a pota reference and made 450 contacts. This was the first time the ship had a digital mode (FT-8) used. 3 stations were used between the 2 radio rooms in radio central as well as Radio 2. If you have not seen these parts of the ship, come with me as I explore areas that were new to me!
