Cheers, probably my favourite PJ song. Your recording has better sound then the actual sound i heard at the show in my A reserve seat, as far away from the stage as you could get. The reverb was terible at the oppisite end to the stage, Ed sounded muffled, Mike's solo's were nice and clear. They needed a few more decibels.

Got to be that guy. Yes was there, 2nd time, saw them in 1995 at the Creek. Production has obviously improved but the gist of this track is emotional loss. A searing solo just didn't work and Eddie smiling his way through this is probably good for the nostalgia but missed the mark for me. Same as Jeremy turning into some sort of rock dance anthem. It felt ick knowing what the song was about. When I think of all the social justice themes they fought for back in the day, this just seemed one big sellout. At a time in the world when warriors for justice are needed on so many levels. And PJ have the platform to do that. Sure plenty had a great time but to me - just missed the thing that made them special. Special shoutout to the psychos and fully encourage anyone to hook up with their wines from Victoria. Good stuff.

I was there. I get that. It's not a searing solo kind of song. It was strange seeing him sing 'we belong together' to Mike, when we all know that's not what it's about. It wasn't about that for me, back then. I'm sure Eddie is happier leaving it in the distant past. I'm going to watch his performance at Pinkpop 1992.
