I was there. Amazing concert! Was pleasantly surprised that there were only two ticket prices: P600 and P1,200. We bought the P600 tickets, arrived early, and took a position right at the border with the higher ticket price section. Too bad this was never recorded as a live album. The audience singing along throughout the concert drowned out a lot of Eddie's vocals. One of the best concerts I've attended.

I remember this day. This night. There were four of us but only two of us have money to buy tickets. My closest friend, Leo, didn't know the other two had no money. We only realized this when we're about to get them. The other two said they were just going to listen outside. We felt bad so we looked for a scalper because we didn't have enough money for 4 tickets. The concert was about to start and we were desperate. Leo, the ever salesman, convinced a scalper to give us 4 tickets for the price of 2 1/2, telling him the tickets will be useless once the concert starts and at the very least, he can sell them. It worked. We got in but our location was at the very back, away from the middle/front where the high paying ticket holders were and for some reason, started shouting/chanting something. My friend, Jonathan, in response, shouted "Ginebra! Ginebra!" and got the crowd in our section to shout along with us while the middle crowd turned around. Some were confused, others were amused. Mudhoney was about to play. You see this wall at 0:24 separating the high paying crowd from us poor folks? It was thin flimsy plywood. As soon as Mudhoney started playing, we kicked it down and security couldn't do anything and let us ran towards the middle. We instantly upgraded our tickets! It was all pure madness and happiness at that point. Oh and The Dawn was in front of us. Best experience of my life. Sadly though, Leo and Jonathan passed away, one from murder and one from cancer. Watching this reminds me of the one time we almost didn't get to see Pearl Jam. For one night only in the Philippines. Also, I'm saw myself briefly in this video.

Your right in a way. You don't see the same type of insane audience participation for the newer superstars. We always had boy/girl bands, studio plants bubble gum music but it was never the voice of a generation. This is the sad thing with gen Z. I am a millennial and even our crowds where pretty boring once the phones came in. Still there are plenty of great underground artist from all generation either putting on great shows or pushing music to new heights. They are just underground and will never have a chance in hell to make it big. There is never going to be another alternative scene like this again. @@thestormlscoming

I was a 3rd yr high school when they held this tour concert maybe this was the second time. I was just a fucking school boy and under alternative rock and slow rock mentality melody... i was just told about it. No exposure in big gig like this during 95. But had numerous small gigs and contests where me and my numerous bands played in front of the people in different rock genre ( not included showband gigs).. i dont know why im craving on pearl jam these days. Maybe something is missing with stp , alice in chains, tool, soundgarden, perpect circle, smashing p., black s., godsmack, deftones, nirvana etc. Which pearl jam has so that i could improve my vocal. Eddie vedder is good on singing the words rapidly under grunge category. Melodically and little gothic. I like his groove specially in.this song . Thank u.. for uploading this. Mabuhay ang grunge.. sana mging active uli pagkatapos ng covid 19 na eto. Peace.

weebogeeta mmh after years of the heavy deep singing , it’ll take a toll on his vocal cords. A lot of rock bands or grunge band singers fell victim to this. If it’s not your normal voice or vocal, it’ll take a toll when you do it night after night

This useless debate about the drummer again! Abs was fire from PJ for different reasons and that's it. The band has integrity and for them was more important that. They are artist, musicians, not just rock stars. Since the beginning they tried to avoid that and they succeed. Look at the rest of the grunge idols. And for those becoming drums experts, any PJ drummer could play the way Abs does it, including Matt. The thing is that they add their own style to the songs and that's great cause it implies that the musician is interpreting the song which is the essense of being one. You can like it or not, but to diminish the quality of a professional drummer is hilarious, it just shows the lack of knowledge. I know there are some Abs's widowers around youtube diminishing the other PJ's drummers, but they look no more like scorned girlfriends.
