Well, I see your point, but : 1- On stage, musicians tend to play a bit faster due to the adrenaline of the moment (I speak from experience) 2- I find (and this is purely a question of personal preference) that this slightly up-tempo version is not that bad... In any case, in my humble opinion, PJ are simply one of the best bands of the past two decades !

Man, they can still rock like it's 1992! But look at this video compared to their Pink Pop performance from 1992. Their behaviour is so subdued compared to then. this was pearl jam at their prime (concert wise). in 2000 they were nothing short of amazing. anything prior to, or post, 2000 doesn't come anywhere near the kick ass-ery of this tour.

No one can say Dave is better then Matt they have opposite styles of drumming Matt has raw power Dave sounds like he on a cloud. For the PJ FAns that don't no Matt is the drummer on the demo that was given to Jack irons he gave it to Eddie the rest is history
