I'm not necessarily a Pearl Jam fan, but this was a great cover of a timeless song. You can see Eddie actually has emotion as though something in the lyrics hits close to home for him. And this is an era that is forever gone where the crowd isn't looking through a smartphone screen and just enjoying the show!! I miss those days.

I was introduced to this band on my first date with my wife of 32 years. We've seen them 26 times over the last 32 years and this morning watching a video of Pearl jam performing in 2022 I realized how fortunate we are to have this group still going strong all these years later. I so glad that I'm able to say I was there. I was 14 and going absolutely crazy. I'll be going to my 17th Pinkpop this year and I'm really looking forward to seeing the Rolling Stones, Metallica and the Arctic Monkeys (and many more). But I'm also a bit disappointed that Pearl Jam won't be there because their performance in 1992 is still one of the best live sets I have ever witnessed... Keep on rocking in the free world!!
