It won a Grammy, and they could care less. That's what I like about this band, true talent. They care about the music and nothing else.

Edvie is amazing with his singing talent. I was there that night and saw him drink beer out of the shoe he was wearing. For a man to sing like that at a young age is amazing, keep up the good word Edvie!!!

@Ticonderous17 жыл бұрын
you are kidding right ... Matt is way too fast on almost every early Pearl Jam song ... Losses the feel and the groove ... Matt does not even play the ghost notes on Black ... But in saying that Matt smashes all his Soundgarden stuff like an animal
@liiliiliiliil7 жыл бұрын
Luigi Capone matt has a unique drumming character but thhat's about it, that's all he can do he sounds the same in every song he plays. where as abbruzzese is a technical drummer and has a wider technical drumming chops
@GDJ1136 жыл бұрын
Abbruzzese is easily the best drummer Pearl Jam ever had, easily better than Jack Irons or Matt Cameron. I love Dave Krusen's style but still, none of them can top the feel and intricacies Abbruzzese plays with and the quality of the albums the band wrote with his influence and contributions. It's 2018 and I'm still mad at Eddie for getting him fired 😡

all songs from 1990 to 1994 by pearl jam sounded really stupid with jack irons drumming on it
@FreakinRican69697 жыл бұрын
Herbert .Gatchalian that's your opinion. music is subjective. its all about doing justice to the music, and Jack Irons does just that. quit living in the past, my friend
@liiliiliiliil7 жыл бұрын
Kacy Ortiz no... if you know music you will hear he can't keep time and tempo and does the same stupid roll/fill in every song he plays. he changes tempo through the song and when he does fills or rolls he lose time and changes tempo lol. i know it's about preference but in music theory jack irons fails. i think he doesn't know how to use a metronome
@FreakinRican69697 жыл бұрын
Well he isn't going to play it spot on and please everyone and even if he did you would still complain, saying he's trying to copy Dave's style. I don't see you doing it any better. Besides, it still sounds like Pearl Jam to me. Anthony Kiedis has referred to him as the "human metronome" for his ability to keep beat very well (read scar tissue) whereas Neil Young referred to him as unbelievable, as he played his ass off every take and every session of the mirror ball sessions. I know music quite well and no two takes and drummers are going to sound the same every time
