@@trentfancher My pleasure. Thanks for sharing! I've got a few snares that I really love... A Pearl Jupiter that I got from my uncle 35 years ago. A Pearl Omar Hakim. And a Ludwig Epic "Brick" 20 ply that is a beast! Also got a Pearl Sensitone Steel that is relatively inexpensive but sounds pretty good 😃 Happy Drumming!!!

Well, Russel, thank you for watching the video and taking time to comment. It’s certainly a beautiful drum. Years ago, I was on tour with Wayne Brady in South Africa and played a 20-ply reference snare. Next NAMM I was at the Pearl booth and secured an endorsement. I love all my Pearl snares but that one is special. I may be convinced to wrap an entire kit in that finish. It’s so nice. Great craftsmanship on your part. I’m currently recovering from open heart surgery so I can’t play a lot of drums for a few months but I can’t wait to get back at it. I really do appreciate you watching and commenting!

I actually just got lucky to find this video as here and there I search for unboxing of the Music City Custom drums hoping to finally see someone showing the inside label where I signed it, but all of the other videos I have found/watched does not show the inside label. However, I was very pleased to see you showing that and thanking me personally by name! Haha I was very flattered sir. :) Congrats on the endorsement! Yes, I totally agree about that finish, I love all of the matte finishes instead of the glossy ones myself. Sending prayers for a quick recovery, I know life will be back soon for you to get back on the drums man! Again, you're very welcome, best wishes for a quick recovery and thank you again!
