Derby and Permasharp both make 1/2 blades. So does Shark . They are readily available because of Leaf. But also there are more single edge razors coming out. My current favorite is the Soloedge from Parker

Thanks for that info. I found Feather single edge blades here in Japan.

Hi Mully, the blades are just half DE blades, so you can split one of yours and use it. Found it in Amazon for 24.99 with a stand and 21.99 without a stand

Yep, figured that out afterwards

I have several single edge razors. I have the Leaf Twig and the Thorn, but the Parker Solo Edge is my favorite and has become my daily driver.

This Sleek isn’t bad, but it’s got an odd angle. Someone sent me a Leaf Thorn and I fell in love with it.

WHOA!!! The T2 is just about the same weight as the 6C and lighter than the 6S! HOLY COW!!! The way you call it a beast, I figured that the T2 had to be heavier. LOL. Great unboxing and description of both pros/cons or good points and stuff to improve upon!!!
@MullyShaves7 ай бұрын
Yeah, I think the Yates Winning is 2g heavier too. The T2 stainless is probably really heavy

Damn Pearl razors! I have the Parker solo edge and the price of the Pearl is too low to pass up. I'm a razor junkie.

Go ahead and get it. For 18.00 I can tell you it’s efficient. Video just hasn’t come out yet. Tomorrow.

I ordered mine from Maggards yesterday for $17.95. And they were offering an addl 10% Off for Fathers Day. I already have the Parker Solo Edge. It's on the way already. Looking forward to your shave review.

Nice video man! Great first reactions and awesome transparency. I see the trouble putting back the top cap and yeah that requires some practice. What I like to do is hold the top cap with my thumb so I make a "razor stand" doing peace sign with my index and middle finger and I sit the razor on top as a stand. Then with the thumb I hold the top cap in place... makes sense? heheh Awesome stuff!

The problem with the 3 finger method is your finger or thumb can so easily brush against the blade and push it out of its place. Have to be very careful not to bump the blade. I’m really looking forward to your review too. I hope you get your things soon.

Mully, I enjoyed your unboxing review. I am not a fan of single edge razors in general, which is why I ended up trading away my Leaf Twig. However, before I traded it, I did pick up a 50-pack of Perma Sharp 1/2 blades, which I included in the sale.

Definitely it needs design improvement to hold the blades while locking the blades. The knurling must be horizontal also it must be included at bottom for tightening the blades.

Even if they put a paper sleeve around the blades to keep them together that would be better. Also wouldn’t really cost them much extra, as far as materials and work time.
@MullyShaves7 ай бұрын
Yeah, they were everywhere.

Good morning - the razor takes a half DE Blade - any DE Blade can be snapped in half. So use your favorite blade and snap it. Keep it in the wrapper and just fold it over until you hear the snap. Some manufacturers do make packs of just half blades. This razor is a copy (not accusing anyone) of the Parker Solo Edge.

Excellent comment. It's like you were crawling around my head. Haha!
@MullyShaves7 ай бұрын
Thanks for that. Yeah, between the time I shot this and the time it was uploaded, almost 8 hours, I did figure out to snap a double edge. I’ll be using a PermaSharp.

@@MullyShaves I've used a couple of single edges in the past and they are pretty good, but IMO not as good as a full on DE razor. I usually take the single edge razors when I'm traveling since they can be inexpensive and if I lose them I'm not heart broken. This way my Rex Konsul Prospector edition is nice and safe at home.

I’m pretty sure nothing will take over the T2. Haha!!

@@MullyShaves we all have our Goldilocks razor. Enjoy your shaves! If you haven't given Razor Emporium's Lavender soap/aftershave/balm a try you're really missing out. The scent is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

They sell different brand singles and you can break any de blade in half . So the sky is the limit 😂😂😂

Thanks. Yeah, I found the DE trick after I shot that.
