" do not cast your pearls before swine unless they should turn around and rend you" He who has ears let him hear! Jealousy can really inhibit and hinder unless their is real self awareness and love in this age. A great reminder. Cheers

Yes sadly mud crabs is fundamentally how all humans operate, across the board in, beauty, wealth, achievement, intellect etc.

I feel a bit surprised about you surrounding yourself with so many people that don't respect creating Art as being a valued profession. It surprises me because I am an office worker, Art lover and amateur dancer of 4 different dance styles as hobby. I invested a lot of money in classes, taken from people that make Art and teach Art for a living. I do agree with you on the not giving anyone power or energy that does not treat you with the same respect. I was born in 1977, and back in those days, the automatic thinking for girls and women was we existed to mostly please or adjust to the will of others. Only now at my 47 I learned how to be so happy on my own, and continue to try to heal from all the battles and pleasing done just to try to find love and not be taken advantage of in some way. Now I tell everyone bye if I don't feel this is a equal relationship or friendship. Had to walk away from a lot of "friends" only because I myself finally understood I deserve better. Thanks for sharing 🙂 Happy and amazing 2025 to you!! 🥂🌟

Huh? 😮Where did he say he places himself around people that don’t respect him being an artist? He said he had had experiences where he wasn’t received or respected. Hence the his point, he removes himself away from people that don’t see or respect him. And an artist is still a very tough sell, there are people that make arts and crafts as a hobby and then there are artists that try to support themselves entirely by their craft as a business.

I was thinking the same thing. I don't know why anyone would laugh if you told them you're an artist. I respect artists. They make the world go round. I think so many people think artists mean you're starving. Look at some of the masters. They died broke, having created masterpieces that weren't acknowledged until they died. I guess that's the only thing I can think of.

@@jaeljade3609not everyone is aware like you. I've had family (from the older generation) laugh when I told them I wanted to be an artist. They didn't think I could make a living that way. Mainstream society thinks that way also unfortunately. But there are definitely people out there like you who understand and care too

@izzylove89 I wouldn't care what anybody wants to do as long as they're happy doing it. I've been shot down, too. At one point, I wanted to spend my life diving and clearing up the invasive fish population. We have real trouble with invasive lion fish eating all the native fish here in the Gulf of Mexico. I don't relish killing any living thing. I wanted to feed them to the sharks because once they get a taste for them, they'll start eating them. Right now, they have zero predators, so their numbers are skyrocketing. I got laughed at so hard and mainly by family. I'd be doing it now if I hadn't had an injury. Restaurants are buying the fish, too. It would have been absolutely perfect for me. I can't fight even a little current anymore, but I still dream about being under the water. Diving made me so happy. No matter what the dream is, we should go for it. Too many people don't because they are told they can't. It's having to come up with new dreams once one is out of the picture that's difficult. I'm still floundering around, not knowing what to do with myself. I used to be good at art, but if you don't use it, you lose it. I'm sure I could have sold locally. I see some of the crap selling, and I know I could do much better even out of practice. People who love art will invest.

Everyone change. Not entirely but a little at a time , both twoards the darkness and away from. People often take lables and run with them...people are different every day its the trends we need to watch for. Humans rarely have anything more than mutable traits.
