Two wrongs don’t make a right, just love her, love covers a multitude of sins. That is not the right setting for that. You can talk the next day to her about it over a nice lunch you made. You can tell her with words seasoned with salt. A man needs to bear his wife and PRAYER !

Likely she has a wound in her spirit… compassion be the teacher. Shaming is not merciful. Ask what would Jesus say/do? I suspect the part of her that feels judged and unworthy is being projected outwardly. Oh we humans need so much love. Love, acceptance are heavens way. Sin has been abolished by Christ…faith, forgiveness heals all. Bless

I would point out what the waitress is doing well and divert her attention to that and maybe even offer an excuse for the waitress like, "Maybe they're understaffed and she's trying to do too much".

Im a very competitive female by nature so I joined the tennis club and i pour out all my compy spirit on the tennis courts where im admired n accoladed for my ferocious competitive nature by being very aggressive on the court; that way I dont usually display it elsewhere; i get it out of my system in sports where it belongs. that lady in the letter shd join a sports club...

Haha. Yeah, I think I would do something similar, he should have done it the second time she embarrassed everyone around her, if she started the embarrassment, then she should feel the embarrassment.

Wow I guess by the comments here I'm in the right place for the word of God. Clearly stated the persecution of vicious attacks here are astounding. Only Satan him self could organize such an attack. He doesn't want us to find truth and happiness, God bless :)

there is so much more going on here and giving quick advice and putting it out on a global platform like this does a dis-service. there is a condition of the heart that has to be addressed. "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks" "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he". Love that you brought up the fruits of the spirit, but wished you had focused on that. Asking the leader of the home to focus on exemplifying thoe fruits of the spirit. YES doing bible studies and leading the wife in such a way. but also showing her that her lack of grace to others shows a lack of abundance of Gods grace in her own life. so much more to this but these are just some thoughts

Quite the differences in opinion about your answer in the comments! Funny, if you listen closely you can hear his harshness even as he preaches mercy. None of us is God so we'll never see the woman in the situations the husband speaks of and is taken aback by. It could be that the man is under-assertive or just very easygoing. (Maybe the man is exaggerating.) And so there is a contrast. It does sound like the wife could be embarrassing and overbearing - though also she does have the right to have a little "tone" if the waitress is messing up or the food is truly bad or what a nice meal should be with great service.

When you go out to eat and your server treats you bad then they don't deserve a tip, sorry not sorry. I've tipped severs up to $100 dollars before for providing good service. The food can be horrible yes but that isn't the servers fault, they aren't the ones in the kitchen cooking, you aren't tipping the Cook you are tipping the server. I expect good service a smiling face, a good tone of voice, over all just friendly and kind treatment when I sit down to eat a meal I'm paying for. You get tipped on how you treat people you don't get tipped just because you are a server and feel like you are obligated to a tip.

I used to work as a waitress - women tend to be the worst tippers, not always the case but 90% of the time, that is unless they also work or have worked in the food service industry (we took care of each other). On the other side as a customer, I've had a female server at a fast food chain serve my two young children and me puny portions, while she piled it over the top for the two dudes behind me who ordered the same dish. It was truly upsetting, so I complained and all she could do was give me a stupid, sheepish look of GUILT. I hate to say it, but sometimes women really suck!!! I have no respect for men who spoil their woman... because I'm a woman myself and I know better.

Dear Michael, I've been trying to find out how God defines marriage. Specifically does the act of intercourse constitute marriage or must there be a commitment before God type of ceremony. Most information I've come across suggests the latter is the case. However no one has taken into account Gen 6. Where the fallen angels took wives of the daughters of men as many as they chose. It doesn't seem to me that since they turned from God that they would commit to these woman. Also, they'd already be sinning by taking more than one wife. I'm very confused about this issue. I respect your opinion and your biblical knowledge. Please help me discern this. God bless.

@@elliesilva1907 The laws of the land dont state that one has to get a state marriage certificate if they dont want to. The Israelites in Christ day also did not go to the Roman authorities for permission to be married. Your definition of marriage is unbiblical.
