Great video! Love your smiles. My husband and I are 22 and live on our sailboat, sailing around the world. VERY excited to explore places like this! and who knows, maybe we will cross paths :) Cheers ~

I couldn't help but yo notice Becky's NASA, T-shirt, and the Team Oracle shirt. Is that just merch, or have you guys had some involvement in any of that?

You are one lucky guy to have a wife willing to crawl under a sink and get her hands dirty!

My wife never developed muscles, she fits in there but it's useless. Good cook tho. 🌞

Is sleeping a bit comfortably or far from it? Looking at one soon.
@sailingfreshandsalty50783 жыл бұрын
You will probably have to sleep out on the bed that pulls out from the middle of the boat, makes into a double bed. Sleeping is good but you just have to remember it’s a 30 foot boat. If it was long-term you really have to be on the cruising Lifestyle

So was the big outboard on back a fix for inboard failing or!?
@sailingfreshandsalty50783 жыл бұрын
Yes, they'll old inboard gas engine was bad when I purchased the boat. We had such good luck with the Yamaha High thrust 4 stroke outboards the catamaran we decided to put one on the Pearson. It has been many years now and we love the benefits. Plenty of power. No petroleum smells in the boat anymore, also added lots of storage. We put two kayaks where the motor and fuel tanks used to be. The outboard has an electric steering Ram and the throttle and shift control is mounted next to the companionway in a convenient spot. Thanks for your comment and thanks for watching

@@sailingfreshandsalty5078 Almost bought a 73 last year. The traveler was mounted on the fat seat bench, noticed yours is mounted on the stern combing. Did you move it or was that standard? Thanks.
@sailingfreshandsalty50784 жыл бұрын
@@foundatsea3483 mine was mounted also on the fat seat bench originally, we decided to move it to where it is now, more room in the cockpit and out of the way. We don't have a problem with sailing the way it is, if you were wanting to race a lot . Get every advantage that you can to gain that extra speed you probably want to leave it the way it comes Factory

@@sailingfreshandsalty5078 Nice job. I see no evidence of the old traveler install lol. Did you just epoxy over it? Also looks like a newer galley table top / surface? Lovely

oops *aft seat bench! Not fat haha

Dude, get an autoinflatable PFD. You look like an amateur with that 1970’s PFD.
@sailingfreshandsalty50784 жыл бұрын
We used to wear inflatable PFD on Lake Superior until I jumped in once , I am not going to trust a inflatable life vest in that cold water. You need all the help you can get. It's very cold. An inflatable is more sexier, I agree, the vest in the video was actually $150 and I bought it recently. Thank you for watching and thanks for the comments
