PearTune MSO installation on SPECIALIZED and BROSE e-bikes

Great support and communication. I ordered this for my BH AtomX Lynx Pro, and was having trouble getting it to function. I reached out to Katerina and she was very responsive. She did some research and provided me the info to get this chip working with my eMTB. Thanks Katerina, and I am highly recommending this product. So far I am able to hit 29mph!

Undoing the crank hex bolt is very tight, it loosens a bit then tightens again, eventually it loosens off. the cable with the round fitting is for the tachometer (speed sensor) feeds through frame to rear. I fitted this to turbo Vado 4.0 and it works adjusted max speed to 35km as in Oz it’s limited to 25. Battery consumption increased a bit, but very happy after 1st commute. Found it a little more jerky cutting in and out at new max speed, but this may just be a consequence of it being higher.

After the chip is installed I am having "motor error" warning... Is it possible that there is new firmware that's blocking the tuning chip?

There is no longer a Mission Control app on the Apple App Store. The new app Specialized has put out does not display real-time information like shown on your video. Is it possible to update this video to show how it is done with the current (new) Specialized app? Also is the Pear Control device “on” by default or do I have to turn it on every time I start to ride by pressing the walk assist button?

What about Vado SL motors? The "peartune 3.0 specialized sl 1.1" is promoted to work also with these, but cannot find a manual.

Is there a chip that, after you disconnect it, can't be seen by Specialized dealer when they read your bike? It's for the warranty 😅

It's a mod for the Specialized Turbo Levo E-bike that allows it to go past the 20mph peddle assist cut off point.

Damit wird lediglich eingestellt, bis zu welcher Geschwindigkeit der Motor unterstützen soll. Brose hat doch ohnehin schon 95nm, zumindest mein Brose Drive Mag S von 2018. Das ist schon echt eine gewaltige Kraft für so eine Fahrradkette😅🧐

Great bike , rides smooth kzbin.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L I added a bigger spring loaded seat to it . Takes a bit of adjusting cables to get brakes and shifting to perfect . I've owned quite a few bikes in the past that were absolutely uncomfortable to ride and they always ended up as garage wall decor . I'm not seeing that with this one. It's pretty light I've only ridden it a few miles but I like it . As for the pedals falling off in the other reviews , the pedal arms are aluminum along with the pedal studs look to be also . I would not overtighten them. I can see it would be very easy to overtighten them and strip the threads right off . All in all I think it's pretty good quality besides the aluminum pedal thing
