Peat Terroir in Scotch Whisky & The North American Peat Project

I'm excited to be back with another Livestream where I'll be talking about how different sources of Peat influences the flavours we find in whisky. We'll examine some of the differences between Single Malt Scotch whisky made using Islay, Highland and Orkney peat from Scotland. We'll also touch on peated Canadian and American Single Malts, cover why so many source their peated malt from Scotland and try one of the very few using locally sourced North American Peat to make their single malt whisky.
