Hey man I got a 120 watt Randall amp and my son turned it on without the speakers being hooked to it and it blew a fuse I put a new fuse in it and it turns on and all the tubes are glowing but once I hit a standby it fuse blows what do you think the problem is

I had the same problem with my Peavy Vypyr 75 watt solid state amp. No fuse on the back, but on the board there was one, soldered in. I replaced it and away she went. Stupid design, probably saved Peavy a pound but cost me a lot of pain solving it. I am no kind of amp teck, just a player.

Remember to check for vibration failure, lightly tap around the tubes on metal back of the amp.

So I have the same exact amp head and I have no power to it at all it won't light up nothing I don't know what the hell if it is a fuse I am very freaked out because this is the only guitar amp head that I use for my band
