That fucking Bugera sounded killer. Better than the real thing if you ask me.

For leads yes! The feel was noticeable better too. The 6505 was tighter so perhaps better for ryhtm 👍

Thank you. This is the video I've been looking for. Great comparison as well as featuring the best of both amps. I just picked up a 6260 online and I'm waiting for it to arrive. I'll be using it for more of a Doom/Stoner Metal type of sound, but I love your tone and your playing.

Peavey sounds slightly tighter but I just got a bugera 6260-212 to mess with; sounds great too

They're super close but I like the 6505 better, the Bugera seems to have more low-mids. I play Death Metal and 5 whole gain stages make a difference for single note palm muted rhythm note sustain. Some people say the amp's distortion feels like juicy compression which I am a fan of. When I record I compress the guitar tracks to make them sound even juicier.

I was pleasantly surprised by this video, I thought it was going to be 100% lead guitar by the intro but I stuck around and enjoyed that rhythm playing. I noticed the 6505 was a little thicker in sound but only by a hair other than that it was almost identical at least through my computer speakers. One thing i've heard about Bugera from the very first time I heard of them was you always have to put better tubes off the bat.

Bugera tubes are just whatever generic Chinese tubes they could get the cheapest. Part of the reason the 6505 might sound thicker is the resonance pot where the 6260 just has a fixed value.

Definitely liked the 6262 better. The Peavey gets fizzy.

Did you change the power tube heater cable of 6505 from ribbon to something else? It doesn't look like ribbon cable from the footage.

Don't do it! The pre infinium heads are getting harder and harder to find. I won't sell anything anymore, I've sold so many amps and guitars over the years that are either impossible to find or outrageously expensive now.

Have/will you tried the 6505mh - mini 20w version? I just got it and it sounds really good, (I havent tried the standard versions)

I havent but I can tell you this. I have both amps up for sale now because I hardly play theese two. But after making this demo im not so sure I should sell, they sound great both of them. I might just get the 6505 mini instead!!

@@Rohbemusic Bugera seems to be quite close to the original but the mini might be the way to go if you want to save some space as well :)

Clicked randomly and HOLY SHIT you can shred! My ONLY critique is that the backing track was a little too loud and made your amazingly neoclassical licks difficult to fully comprehend. I just thought you deserved to shine a little more. Just my opinion.
