The governments say that the new safety regulations will save lives...and so all new cars are standardized and for a purist can be usually described as "ugly". If the government really wanted to save lives, all they have to do is put a governor on the cars so that they can do no more than 60 mph. Why do you need a car that can do more than the legal speedlimit? If you want to go faster...take the train.
@projectfinale11 жыл бұрын
More importantly, this is an old money car show... it helps to have a family that has been rich for generations. You could list at least two of the cars in this video alone as "priceless"... because they will probably never go up for auction, because the families don't need the money and would only sell it if they somehow magically went broke. Families that have been rich for generations, most likely will not go broke anytime soon.

The 1920’s, 1930’s, 1940’s, 1950’s. 1960’s, 1970’s and even the 1980’s were the heydays of the car industry. Well made, well engineered, well crafted, well designed products. Nowadays a car is merely an electronic appliance. And most cars these days are pretty much over designed.

What an awful show. This particular one may not be what I'm describing but the one I watched was torture and poorly produced. First of all, its a car show not a sales manager show. Why are we relegated to listening to a salesman talk for 20 minutes in 4 or 6 different segments. Not just one but multiple salesmen like Lexus. Yea, I've never seen one of those. Its funny how they'll break from the salesman, do a montage that must have been done by a meth addict then come right back to the salesman for me to think, No, not him again. You've a whole field full of great cars that I want to see and some clueless producer tortures us with about a fraction of the cars there. Its a car show right? You call yourself The Car Network, not the talking head Network. If I want to listen to talking heads there are much better choices than the talking heads I muted. And you even keep coming back to the same cars, Even choosing the least interesting sprinkled in. If I ran this show it would be so much better. My audience would get to see nearly ALL the cars there and a fraction of the talking heads.
