The joy you were feeling while driving the Pegaso on the road was conveyed by the constant big smile on your face for the entire drive. Thanks for bringing us along.

Mr.Osborn The Z-102 is magnificent in form and beauty what a treasure. Congratulation to the museum for keeping such art alive. I would love playing poker with you. You do not have a poker face. As many of your posts I have commented on your ear to ear smile when driving a car you not only enjoy but love. Thank You for the experience. Cheer's, keep the faith. Dean

I’ll never forget the first time I saw a Pegaso z102. Just a photo in a book, but to my young eyes it was the most beautiful little jewel in the book.

I find this video and others by Audrain tremendously uplifting: in a throw-away world, there is a group of people who care passionately about fast cars and preserving history. What a civilized event. Many thanks for sharing it with us.

"OH MY GOD ! IT'S DONALD ! 😂😂😂 I think that comment just about sums you up Mr. Osbourne . 😊 l'd actually never heard of these incredible works of art until a couple of days ago . I have to confess that Richard Micheal Owen beat you to it and he waxed lyricals about these fabulous cars and gave your two particular attention. Apart from the unique bodywork , the engines are incredible ! I know l will probably never make it to Pebble Beach but if fortune looks down on me this is one event l must attend . In it's different formats matches Goodwood Donald and l know you would happily acknowledge that . But l would hate to be a judge ,you know you're going to make someone very happyy and someone very upset ! And my goodness, you and your fellow workers must have hardly slept for weeks but worth every moment ! Thanks Donald , and grateful thanks to all at Audrain .

The pea green Touring Pegaso (The feature of this video) and the Saoutchik (pearl white one with the shooting star on the rear quarters) were 2 of my favorite cars in the show, in addition to the F&F coachwork cars and the preservation class Alfa that was a Best of Show nominee. The Pegaso's had me teary-eyed and stopped me in my tracks when I saw them. It was the green one I saw first -from the ass-end. Fell in love immediately.

Very nice. As your Spanish friend Jaïme Bergel said, these are mythical cars. I've only seen them stationary in museums, including MoMa in NY of all places. So, great to get to come along for the drive and hear the engine. Congratulations to the prize.

Great video Two things of interest to note. First, unless one sees these as a body shell you cannot imagine how heavy they are. Donald and some of the comments have correctly noted how complex these cars are, but it was the weight that denied them success in racing. Even though the Pegaso succeeded the Jaguar XK120 as the world’s fastest unsupercharged production car, it was neither quick nor agile. Second, 115 has a fascinating backstory, having been converted to a production car and sold to unsuspecting buyers, including Nick Begovich, without a hint of its competition past. Only when Nick’s friend Tony Fabozzi stripped the body and noticed and researched many anomalies in the metalwork did he discover and share with Nick the car’s racing history. Tony’s detective work alone is a great story of automotive archeology.

Donald I always enjoy the works of automotive art you drive and tell us the history of. This episode of Pebble Beach was especially amazing because I've never heard of a Picasso in my 80 years and a car lover! I can't imagine driving such a wonderful carike that on that coastal Ca famous roadway while seeing so many spectacular works of art. Please next time give us a close up of all the cars especially interior and engine compartments taking time on instrumentations on the dashboard! Just frkm the quick glances on your Picasso there looked to be a wooden knob i questioned its use? Congrats on the cars position and i look forward to all your shows especially with Jay and his knowledge and humor. Fair Winds!

I've seen a lot of rare and exotic cars being involved in historic racing for many years and separately I've even seen a 250 GTO being used on local roads as well as a Bugatti Royale replica owned by a guy who lived a few miles away, but I've never seen a Pegaso.

Mr. Osborn subtly kept out of his narrative that the Pegaso, for all its sophistication, was a 5-speed NON-SYNCHRO transmission car. Think that out. He drove it pretty smoothly given that "asterisk"...also that the car had a 4-cam dual overhead cam V8 with a transaxle (transmission in the rear) and had its own dedicated spark plugs Really. . As he said, if there was an easy way, Ricart did it the other way.
