I know how this feels Mark. Whenever I go to a course that I have looked forward to playing I have played some of my worst golf! It’s so annoying but I find a way of still enjoying the walk 🤦♂️😂

Have played this course hundreds of time on the Urban Golf simulators. Looks stunning and defiantly on the bucket list. Dan played some good golf! Mark heartening to see that even when your a skilled player when your making swing changes and don’t put in the range time you can’t expect to see positive on course results out of the box!

I watch the Pro's and amateurs play this course every year and know it's tough but you don't realize just how small the greens are nor how much slope they really have. Brutal, in a beautiful setting!

How awesome is that house by the 10th green! I always remember that and the house with the veranda by the 14th green. But I love pebble and need to go back before I kick the bucket!

Good job you didn't start on the other coast! Seems like a brilliant lesson in swing change perseverance. I expect most of us amateurs would revert to old thoughts/methods after two bad holes, rather than sticking with it. I guess that's why its hard for us to change/improve!
@9to5golfhughmanning885 жыл бұрын
Wow! I am riveted watching you guys play this track. Difficult to see the slope of the greens on video sometimes. Would you comment on if/how the caddies helped on your approaches? Thanks so much for putting this up. Having a blast watching this one.
@neilwilliams94945 жыл бұрын
So relatable. I hate it when I look forward to playing a course for so long then the day finally arrives and don’t do myself justice. A good lesson to us amateurs that you don’t just make a change, click your fingers, then turn up to a course and finish 5 under instantly!

Keep the faith Mark the swing change will bed in eventually and you'll get your gains - Dan is a steady eddie but those greens.....!!! Strong six = Stinky Six?! Good stuff guys looking forward to the next instalment!

Mark, dumb question as couldn't really tell the slope on 11, but I was lucky enough to play a few times with Arnold Palmer a few times and he taught me when U had to skirt a bit of rough like u had, to take an iron, choke up on it and swing it like a putter. I used to practice to see how far they rolled out, i.e. a 3 might pick it up for a foot, and roll out 15 ft, a 7 might pick it up 3 feet, and roll out 10 ft. Have u ever tried that, and if so was that not an option?

Mark you seem rushed xD so uncomfortable, shame you guys couldn't have found more alone time on one of the most beautiful courses there is, during one of the busiest times for it, after traveling for 2 days straight, trying a new swing. Uncle Dan saved the day :D Im sure it was still a great pleasure, and still great to watch. Cheers doods!

I just played Pebble last weekend and it was in US Open condition. They narrowed the fairways and the rough was deep.

6 iron ideas: - a 6 iron that's not a 6 iron - thicc 6; obvious - call one big 6 and the other little 6, lots of puns to make with those; even aside from more of the obvious dick jokes it would just be amusing to have confusing chats with lockey about hitting a big little 6 or a little big 6 - something to do with lumpy; it's in the comments a few times so it's not my idea, but I like it. 6Lump? Chunky Lumpy? Lil' Limpy? - just call it a 5 iron - the dink's dink
