Slotmassacre’s been playing Joker Poker a lot lately. It’s primarily an East Coast game since I see so much of it in Atlantic City compared to how little we see it out here in Vegas. I grew up in Maryland, so I remember the game as a kid. I’ve always wanted you Atlantic City guys to show me the ropes on that game. @@johnsworldofvideopoker I didn't realize that. I haven't been to Vegas since the Frontier was still there! I seem to do well on the single Joker linked "in house progressives" as well. They have a more predictable jackpot (if that is possible). If the half dollar game isn't at least $2,150 or higher I usually don't play it, the dollar game usually likes to hit between $4,700 and $5,000. I have seen them hit back to back. I hit the 50 cent denom twice about 3 mins after the slot attendant paid me on back up spins! Though I don't play at the most elegant casino in the city, I play where I have my most success. If you do assemble the crew, I'd be happy to show you guys where I've been lucky on poker. I would enjoy meeting and hanging with you guys. I know Jeremy said he plans to make another trip out here to the East coast, hopefully all the stars will align! 🤞🙏🃏♠️❤️♣️♦️

Sometimes I count the 2 pair hands on bonus poker and see how beneficial that extra 5 coin payout is. Amazing that I almost always see that I have still have money in the machine just because of that - compared to DDB or TDB. Thanks again.

The 2 pair hand (when it's just rolling out of the machine) is a major contributor to success in video poker. Most players underestimate its value and its significant contribution to winning in video poker. It's like a magician distracting the audience with the 2,000 coins on DDB or the 4,000 coins on TDB while removing the payout on the 2 pair hand. That "trick" gets the unwary player every time!😂🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎

In a simple word, no, it hasn’t happened yet. However, the $100,000 John’s World Challenge is not over by any means😁. I have put very little of my own money into the venture (having relied almost exclusively on trying to leverage free play into making it happen) which is quite difficult and improbable, (but not impossible) to pull off, (with such low denomination play). It hasn’t rolled our way, thus far, in attempting this (which I expected), but still I was hoping to “capture” what can and has happened to me on many different occasions over the years before it ever occured to me to go on KZbin. It was the pandemic, and Slotmassacre, arriving on KZbin, that put the spotlight on video poker and that was how I got onto KZbin. If it weren’t for, Andrew, his Slotmassacre channel, and our becoming friends, I would never have gotten on KZbin. So, I’m forever grateful that he came along to lead the way and put video poker on everybody’s radar. My hope and desire was just to show to the viewers that free play, can and will, produce a few miracles from time to time. But I was unable to catch it, up to this point, on video. However, what did happen in this process, was that I have been learning the art of making KZbin videos. I didn’t realize that I would fall in love with making them. So, even though my $100,000 Challenge hasn’t materialized yet (in terms of leveraging the free play,) I did learn a lot about “crafting” a video. In 2023, the John’s World $100,000 Challenge is alive and well and will become the primary focus of my channel. Only this time around, I’ll largely be funding it using my own money and stepping up the coin play to the loftier denominations of $5, $10, $20, $25, & $50 coins á la Slotmassacre style. When I won all that money, last year in 2021, ($180,000), I stuck the whole thing into building a mini-resort project in my backyard (which I still haven’t finished as far as the landscaping goes because I really want it to be a lush and beautiful garden oasis). So, I’m not embarassed in anyway, but rather, all the pieces have fallen into place for me to really turn-up the heat on the channel for 2023. I know how to make videos now, I’m throwing my own money into the ring, and we’re going to pound our way up to the $100,000 in wins goal. Buckle up. We’re going for a thrill ride! Greetings from Torrance! I almost said greetings from Vegas! Had so much fun at the Cal! I told my wife on the way there that I would hit a Royal and the first person I told was.....you! Here is the specific time stamp 8:02. Anyway, while I am here I will share my most recent hit. Four aces w/kicker on 10/6 DDB at a small podunk casino with only about a dozen of VP machines. As you know I am not a big fan of this game, but thankfully I put in some practice time (unlike Aaron Rodgers). Each full house really feels like you are playing an even game. The SF is reduced to 200 credits (must not exceed 100%), which brings the ER to 99.96%. I hit after less than 90 minutes of play and I was able to max a FSP promo. I look forward to the next video.

Wow….nice job on the Aces w/kickers! Thanks for the time stamp. Oh yes, holding those Queens was just a desperation move so I could stay on the $5 coin denomination longer on such a low bankroll. Not a smart move, but I’ve hit so many Straight Flushes in the past (and I also know how infrequently they hit), so I took the guaranteed Queens. When I’m flush with cash and have a big bankroll on high denomination coin, I’m very strict about near-perfect strategy and would have held for that Straight Flush.🥹🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
