I don't want to be pedantic, but this isn't 'an industry'. Industry is a line of work that is concerned with manufacturing goods and processing materials. What this guy is involved in is more a field of work, or maybe even a craft.

@ette_ca3 жыл бұрын
@@pegleg2959 well I DO want to get pedantic 😘 in·dus·try /ˈindəstrē/ noun 1. economic activity concerned with the processing of raw materials and manufacture of goods in factories. 2. a particular form or branch of economic or commercial activity. I would say that - however niche it may be - profiting from storm chasing, especially on a media platform, certainly counts.
@ette_ca3 жыл бұрын
@@stupickles6670 I don't wanna name anyone since it's unnecessary (though I am judging by the amount of likes a lot of these people already knew what I was referring to). One of the most well-known storm chasers would just scream at his colleagues and bark orders and comment on how dangerous a situation was, yet not get them out of it and constantly endanger his team. Sometimes just to save a piece of equipment or for sheer stupidity. And when they're all in 1 vehicle, it's not like they can leave when they stop agreeing with his decisions, y'know? I think it's pretty toxic to always be screaming (especially when his team are working for him) and to play willy nilly with other people's lives. And then we have Hank here, whose tone is always calm, takes calculated but not plain stupid risks, saves animals, and helps others. I think that's the epitome of positive masculinity. 😍👌

At 17:37 - 8 upward strikes all at once really took the gold medal in my book. And the lead up from 17:20 when the upward strikes started, from 1 to 3 then 3 to 6 and then 6 to 8…. That really was some of the most awesome filming of lightning I have ever seen. A giant thank you for making this 2018 year summary for us to watch. Thanks again!!! 🤜🤛👍👍👍 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So nice to see your annual "Tornados of..." video. Even if the tornados weren't out in abundance, you created an awesome documentary full of laughs, critters, flames, "car-nage", and amazing lightning and storm structures. The way that lightning flowed through that mammatus...and the ground to cloud...what beautiful captures. And, I have to tell you, man...when you held up that banana, I thought for a second, "Hot dang! He found fulgarite!"

Man, I would absolutely love to just go on one chase with a professional. I'm still new to reading radar, but I personally think I've gotten good at it. What I would do to just tag along with someone like you just once in my life. You're one of the best chasers out there man.

I love Hank, he’s so lovely and compassionate. Tornado chasing is cool, but there’s nothing better than a tornado chaser with so much passion for it like Hank. He always checks to see if people and animals are alright, and personally that puts him above the rest for me. Please continue to do what you’re doing, Hank! ♥️

I cant help but smile when you pull over to rescue turtles, snakes and other little guys in the road. Edit: omgosh. Your interaction with that bullsnake is beautiful. You have a heart of gold. And that was super cute seeing him drink from a dish. Then you drank after him. ❤
@rebeccavoss64205 жыл бұрын
I loved the way he held the snake, and the way the snake looked at him after drinking the water. Animals can sense when someone is safe to be around. The snake seemed to trust him. Very cool animal interaction. I'd watch his videos just for that alone, but his videography and music and narration are all superb, as well.
