Yeah, we watched your video, sounds kinda like a low or higher power idle discharge. we read about it a little bit and some people said that is normal. not sure, sounds like something we have to learn more about. the learning never ends for us with this stuff. this is what we got when google searching.... Whenever an inverter is in operation, it is normal to hear the model making some noise. In most cases, the inverter noise is due to a change from the normal power supply to battery power. Typically, you are bound to hear a sound that is made by a coil or an internal transformer. from this page: www.vokek.com/inverter-noise-everything-you-need-to-know/#:~:text=Whenever%20an%20inverter%20is%20in,coil%20or%20an%20internal%20transformer.

Good Luck Mr & Mrs Bob- I also ordered & received the E 1500 LFP with 2- 200 watt solar panels. So far everything works great. It seems to be a solids system . I tested 1 solar panel so far and got 155 watts out of it at 10 am with a good sunshine. I was very happy with that result especially that I couldn't quite get the best angle at that time. I will tuning in for your full review.

Good job! I got answers to all my questions. I plan to buy just an extension battery for now and use it with my Ecoflow Delta 2 setup Discarge: EP3000 XT60(out) -> XT60(in) to Car Charger(out) (comes with EP3000) -> Car Chager(in) to XT60(out) (comes with Ecoflow) -> Delta XT60(in) Charge: Delta Car Charger(out) -> Car Charger(in) to Aviation port(in) -> EP3000 Aviation port(out) The main thing is not to connect to charge and discharge simultaneously. For, you know, the upcoming winter in Kyiv, Ukraine :) P.S. I'll probably buy E1500LFP later too, 'll see. According to Jaconoid, the standalone E1500LFP has a 2.1%/h battery drain on idle AC, which, compared to 0.8%/h in Delta 2 sounds too much for me, as I have no ability to use solar panels, so I can take E1500LFP only to get more 1.5kWh + to bump twice "system" charge time #rambling #avocado

@@RamblinBobReviews Pecron listed many ways to charge the standalone battery including AC. I’m assuming AC is thru the main unit. Otherwise, I assume the only to charge it alone is solar or thru car port.
@RamblinBobReviews11 ай бұрын
nope, straight into the solar port (5 pin aviation port) on the battery :) You can charge the batteries with any charger that meets the specs of the input, we have used the ac adapter from the e2000lfp & e600lfp to put power into the ep3000's :) 12v-95v @ 15a max (400 watts) *correct polarity and pins of course ;)

We were able to charge 700 watts thru the main port on e1500lfp thru solar, plus, plug in the ac wall that bumped the charging up to 1400 watts, plus charge thru the batteries at 400 watts each.. we can charge ours at... 1,400 watts main (solar + ac) 400 watts battery 1 (solar) 400 watts battery 2 (solar) for a total of 2,200 watts :) tsted for 4 hours :)

Question? Menu 3 Auto shutdown is OFF. Does this mean that say you are running a DC refrigerator that cycle on and off, that the system will remain active no matter how long between cycles? Thanks
@RamblinBobReviews6 ай бұрын
If the menu is set to "OFF"....This means no matter how low the draw is, The system will never shut off until you turn it off :) (This is the best setting for running a portable fridge) That is why there are other settings for the hour (1,2,3,4)
@TumnusMr11 ай бұрын
Technically they didn’t fit that external AC brick in there at all. All power stations with built in AC charging just use the main AC inverter in reverse with a tiny bit of extra circuitry and/or a relay or two. Saves on a lot of components and overall weight and is why it can charge so much faster. It also means you get a UPS, because to power loads and charge the battery at the same time while plugged in to AC it has to bypass the inverter for the loads while using the inverter in reverse to charge the battery. They usually label it a bidirectional inverter. Some say they prefer the external AC charger for ease of replacement but all the AC charger is is a AC to DC converter and you can still charge this from any DC source with the right plug and voltage. If the AC charging dies in this, it possibly means the whole AC inverter is dead anyway.
@RamblinBobReviews11 ай бұрын
Oh yeah, forgot that these new models have a 2 way ac inverter :)

Hey Bob & wife, got my EP3000-48v today. Having trouble getting it to show in the app under battery pack details. As far as I can tell when connected they both charge when AC is connected. After a while of leaving them alone the 4 lights on the expansion battery become solid white and the LED is either yellow or green, kind of hard to tell the difference tbh, stays on as well. The estimated duration does not seem to increase. I have tried setting the expansion to different numbers, do you guys have any tips?

Can you access 48v through a custom mj32 connector or is there proprietary communication before there is 48v available on the terminals? I want to power my starlink directly with the 48v, that way I'm not doing extra conversions. Internal 48v -> 12v from front panel -> external 12v to 48v converter -> starlink poe injector. I would much rather just go from internal 48v -> starlink poe injector.

Not 100% sure, we saw a video about the Eb3000 (24v) battery and a guy was able to draw out enough power to run a diesel heater without any problems. But i think they fixed that with the EP3000 (48v) battery because the system self checks itself all the time it seems.....
