Happy New Year Ramblin Bob, i recieved my Pecron 1500LFP just before christmas last year, and i must say, that is the best gift i ever bought myself. It works flawless. To protect the air intake from dust, i took a 3 ply medical face mask. Removed the center filter from the mask. The 2 remaining filters i cut to size. I then taped together onto the air intake from the pecron. This worked perfectly as a dusk filter. Since i have a few boxes of unused masks, i don't have to buy any dust filters. Just replace when needed. Say hello to Miss Bob and thanks for the tips.

I would prefer the Pecron 2000lfp for solar charging alone, 1200 watts vs 700 watts. I’ve owned mine for about a year. No issues what so ever, my 600lfp however has been a nightmare I’m on my 3rd replacement unit.

but remember, you can charge the e1500lfp at 1,500 watts (solar) 700 watts (main) 400 watts (battery 1) 400 watts (battery 2) and the battery balance really works with the e1500lfp our e600lfp has been perfect so far :(

That was my deciding factor when I pulled the trigger on the unit.. Although I should have snagged it on the black Friday sale ..lol .More solar input = More power produced that's usable during the day.💪

two 45 amp extra fuses came with EB3000 battery and Pecron in the EB3000 manual stated to replace the fuses in the E2000 if you are going operator at 1600 watts or more for along period of time. they came in the cables case in the mess area.

I want to run my desktop Computer or 2 on a solar generator 24/7 with Solar & A/C plugged in at the same time. I want it to run on solar power but have the A/C power kick in if the battery gets too low. Can this unit (or any unit) do this??

We do this everyday with the e1500lfp :) (It has AC "UPS" and solar input at the same time ) It uses the sun first to charge, and then uses the ac to charge if the sun is not there :) It has been running every single day since we bought it, with zero days off. note: You can do that with the e2000lfp, but only with solar power. Just not using ac power :(

Hey Bob. I'm thinking Pecron needs to hire you as a brand ambassador since you do such a great job of bringing the facts to the people!! Thank you for the ongoing videos. Hey, a quick question about the E2000. I just had mine replaced and I'm going through the first full cycle and I'm noticing some strange sounds. My previous machine made the same noice, almost like creaking of wood floors. Does your machine make the same sound while the AC inverter is in use? In my previous videos, I've documented this sound. Curious if everyone experiences the same thing or if I need to go back to Pecron and address this concern. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

THANK YOU FOR THE REALLY NICE COMMENTS :) We have learned that the sound that an inverter makes is like a static sound. When you deal with really high voltage, you can hear it much better. according to what we have learned so for about this subject, it is a normal thing. some inverters are louder than others. This is what we have learned so far about this subject.... "Whenever an inverter is in operation, it is normal to hear the model making some noise. In most cases, the inverter noise is due to a change from the normal power supply to battery power. i think Pecron has had another firm ware update to the E2000 since you got yours. the reason i say this i get both the power factor and 60hz on my display. one at a time of course. when i push the AC once the power factor comes up with 120v then when i press it again the 60HZ comes up and the third press back to the normal screen.

They might have, we have really no idea how many times or firmwares that they have been through. with the e2000lfp. we just wanted to see if we can upgrade ours to as new as possible while helping other people get a better product when they bought theirs :) I would much rather have that PF than the HZ, But we do understand their thinking. PF power factor = does nothing other than information HZ hertz = Can literately cause major damage to stuff is used incorrectly

Yep, tested it many times :) We have even tested the charging brick from the e600lfp. note: As long as the charging specs that input with the same connection, all good to go :)

How important is it to keep the battery state of charge between 20 and 80 percent I hear that keeping a fully charged lithium battery is not good for the life of the battery

that is true....20% to 80% is what is know as the sweet spot for longer lifespan for lithium batteries from what we learned. That being said, since there is no automatic cut-off to program the system to stop between these numbers. we have been keeping ours between 20% to 100% because the solar tops it off all the time when it can. (sun willing of course) We have not seen any difference (capacity wise) so far from when the system was brand new. And we cycle our systems every single day for more than a year now. (so we are testing this ourselves also)

So there is the fast charging with AC that takes 1,8 hours @ 15 amps. Now I connect the 2 extension batteries with 3 kwH each. So how much TOTAL TIME will it take to charge the complete system which includes the extension batteries ??? Will the main unit also charge the extension batteries ???? Can I also fast charge the extension batteries in 1,8 hours ? The description says ...... When you charge from the grid/outlet, you will be able to push that power into the extra batteries as well through the cascading cables :) It will take much longer to charge the full system. we have the full stack and never really kept time for all of it, but it is much longer, like 5-8 hours

@@RamblinBobReviews THXs for Your reply. That´s what I thought. So to confirm....the charging capacity of the main unit is divided between all the units or is there a preference ? Now when balancing between the main unit and extensions does it also take under consideration the different solar inputs that can be variable on each of the 3 kwH bricks depending on different solar panels of angle of sun exposure ?? That charging capacity is good for the 1500 wh of the main unit but together with the 2 big 3 kwH extensions this is nothing. Now the 400 w solar on the big 3kwH bricks is a joke and that takes forever. Add on 700 w of solar from the main unit....all together that is nothing to charge a 8kwH storage. That is a total of 1500 w solar capacity to charge 8kwH. The rest has to come from the grid and if You think of grid like me that is a lot of noise and generator hours. So how much watts can the charger of the main unit actually charge in Fast Charge Mode ? Do the 3 kwH bricks also allow 2 charging sources at the same time ? Only way I can see to improve that is to connect a 400 W AC charger to each of the 3 kwH bricks or are there other options ? So what was Your best charging time to charge the 8 kwH on rainy days ? Till now the only way I see that whole thing happening is using my own 48 V battery on a different charging system and charging the Pecron at a constant 700 W 24 hours and forget about the 3 kwH bricks. By that I mean 16 EVE EB31 are 15 kwH + a 200 amps BMS and a big Victron solar charge controller and we are at ca.2500 $. With 15 kwH of storage it does not matter that much anymore if it´s raining a few days and with the saved money I rather buy some more solar panels to charge faster when the sun comes out. Also ran the same numbers with the Pecron 3600 but even worse.... 5 x 3kwH bricks for 15 kwH. It´s a lot cheaper building my own 15 kwH battery. What I pretend is saving on all the wiring connectors and time to install and having a compact unit. From this point of view I really like the Pecron option. All this inverter story wires and fuses. This is a lot more expensive. I like this generator..... has auto start and can charge with 30 amps..... Maxpeedingrods MXR 4000 GT.... right now they sell it in WALLMART for 899$ THXs

When you hook the batteries to the pecron system, the system becomes 1 large battery, so any power that you put into the main goes to the full system :)

Just raised the price on the e2000 from 899 to 1099 the e 1500 is still 899. I had the e2000 in the cart for 3 weeks for 899 sorry i didn't pull the plug! i prefer the 2000 6 ac plugs no app is a plus to me, because if everything down your stuck with settings, example a lot of gen with app have so you can lower settings for charging if power goes out and wifi your stuck with lower charge rate. I want charge my solar gen with my gas gen now im stuck with the lower charge im not using solar for me i want to charge gen as fast as possible and buying a exrtra brick so a app would not work for me.

We saw the prices go up on the e2000lfp last night :( note: you can change the settings of the e1500lfp with the hidden menu also :) We like both of them, but we do like each better than the other one for different reasons :)

i dont think the E1500 has Blue Tooth at this time. looking at the manual there is no Blue Tooth icon shown on the screen. do you have anything on your phone that connects to blue tooth? the reason i ask is i believe when you are looking at pecron app.on your phone you are in the wifi settings not blue tooth settings. so if you had like wireless head phones that uses booth tooth where ever they show up on your phone thats where pecron app. should show up too. i believe you are using an android phone and i am an apple guy so i really cannot tell you where to look. i really think pecron isnt blue tooth capable at this time.

Well, I tried to buy the generator at 2000 what generator of pet ground with a battery and it didn't let me pray not pick run itself but was buying it through dead so then I just bought the generator itself without the batteries and I'm gonna have to go back and buy the batteries for the 2001 generator I got. I really don't know nothing about the 1500 generator. I seem to seem to seem something after I bought two thousand Is watt generator It would be nice if I had the batteries for one of the systems. But then again, I only have the 2000 watt Pecker on generator. I kind of put it in my house. That got destroyed in a fire last year while sort of got destroyed. Destroyed my kitchen in front watch. Would you still have to did some other damage to the house? But it didn't destroy it I use it to run some lights while lamps that I put in the house. I probably shouldn't have bought the generator but probably tried to find the stuff to fix the house. But I need some power anyways. And it was cheap enough. So now I'm gonna wait for the next sale. Maybe to buy the batteries for it. This way I could hook up 2 ,4 hundred watt Solar panels to it Would you be connected to the batteries? And I got 540 W in one of the plugins of the generator To charge it. I'm not sure what I'm gonna hook together charging port yet. I mean I hooked up three of the 4 hundred and eighty watts Solar panels. I could hook up 6 of the 100 W today as a charging port. I know that much I have them twelve of them actually. I also have other solar panels. But I can't lineup necessarily to come up to a p***** on generator for charging. Some of them might be too small too few. And I can't hook up my 550 W. Solar panels to it maybe one to each generator but well that worked at 550 W. Each. Why I think I'm more interested in generators than inverters. No I mean, I still have a generator I could hook up to the house, which I never did hook up to the house, which I never did anyone up to the house. I used them in the house. That is random a couple stench records. Don't run everything in the house cause. I didn't need everything in the house well. I check out I did, but I didn't. I just did other means to make it. So I could use and be a to stay there and stuff. Like that without power lines from the power company. Don't get me wrong, they were connected to the house. They didn't work here and there every now and then, but when the fire started from it, it disconnected itself from the house and it put power company to come through and take the line, and it didn't dirty connect power line back to the house. I don't blame them the house. It's kind of damaged and needs to be fixed special at all. We'll stay at put on the house there and fill it up power according to the house. I mean the city said I needed to have power in the house and eat now. So I have a woodstove soul and I've always had a Woodstock. And I've been using that every year so that hasn't changed. I just got a generator to make power in the house and it works. Just need more batteries for it. Which is gonna have to wait. Probably a month or 2. After I pay property taxes. I don't know.. I'm sorry, KZbin is not making the spelling or saying what I'm trying to say exactly right so it's gonna be hard to read this. I'm sorry about thand I didn't know it couldn't take all the power that you hook app to it I thought it could take 681. That's what the book criticized. That's what the generator says 2 and a 100 W in the top port. But I don't think my lighter thing in the car would do that.

No, with 2000 Watts, all our users, 2000 Watts, I don't care about the surge. I don't need to search I don't want to search I like that it may have a search but I don't ever want to use a search because wow, that's huge if I'm trying to use a search. The search would have to go continuously all the time means. I should just get a bigger generator. That's also why I don't hook up some things in my house to it generator just yet because I don't gotta beg enough generator for that.

What? I didn't know there are bolt 2000 Watts, I thought 1 was 1591 was 2015 100 W. Not what I want, but if it's 2200 Watts, maybe it's something I should get. I mean, it's not 8000 W it. I'm actually looking for that happens storage but yeah, it is but I was only using 5000 W of electricity before the fire happened in my house. I wanna when I use most power. It was in a daytime. So the batteries are charging anyway. So overnight, I didn't matter because I was only using a little bit of power and I was able to charge up early in the morning but I but there both 2001 generators and think it's pretty good to have both of them or one or the other. It really doesn't matter. That gives me a new suspect about the one I didn't think it was such a good 1.

Sorry most things i'd buy use of solar charging and maybe car charging with spark plug or would you say the lighter plug? I should say. But but ACI don't have an option for. That's one thing that I'll try. Never become into my house again. Which might be a crying shame I do not know yet. I don't care what all the power outages. We have during the year winter and summer. I really don't care if it's never took to my house again. But that's my fault right now. I mean, I've never lost power since 2002 and I own my house since 1999 of July 29th actually. I actually bought the house about 2 months before. My first kid was born and then I only had 2 kids 5 years 11 months apart from one another. And they're both girls and they're both really really smart. The teachers admit it that the second one is even smarter than they were By a long shot. But now that she's graduated. It'd be nice if I could put it through college. Like the first one went to college. That seems to be really hard at this time. Especially for all the things that actually happened to us.
