They are welded onto the bracket from the factory

yes, i watched a 'how to remove the master cylinder' video and see these bolts also attach it as well now to access them must remove the rectangular plate on bottom of car Thanks

Thank you. I replaced the rubber pedal covers, and the bushings which were previously plastic, and now brass. I also bought a new accelerator pedal shaft/lever. This was insanely expensive for what it is (I think around $130), with the thought that I may repair the original some day which the end bushing hole had oval out causing play in the accelerator. Between the powder coating, and parts it probably was around $250 in cost. That's inflated of course because of the accelerator arm / shaft cost.

I use Electro-plating specialties in CA, it's not Cad, but yellow zinc and usually very well done.
