I have it on my 2021 f250 and the added throttle response is insane. It really does feel like it adds about 50 hp. 👍

I have to say... a couple of years ago I got to drive a friends truck with a PC in it. I was less than impressed... People where talking more power, faster vehicle... I did my research and even talked to the guys at the company and that is NOT how they work, but recently I had someone point out a way to use them that I had not thought of... not to get more HP (because they do not do so) not to get faster top speeds (again because they do not do so) or even to get better acceleration (because they do not really do so... they DO change where the pedal is for a given amount of throttle, but they can not increase the maximum capacity) where they are GREAT for us wheelers is that they can REDUCE throttle response as well. This allows you to get more control over your engine on the trail. Because they remap the throttle response in relation to where your foot is on the throttle, they make it FEEL like you are faster, more powerful, but in truth they just moved where on the pedal that power is generated. If I generate the most power in 80-85% throttle, you might only need to use 65% throttle (arbitrary numbers as I do not feel like looking up the actual changes to the throttle curve), but you will see very li'l gain above that mark just like I will see very li'l gain above my mark. The thing is at 80-85% pedal on my stock system I may have my throttle open 90% of the way, while you have that same 90% opening at 65% but in both cases we would only have 10% more opening available to us through whatever remains of the pedal movement. Still as I said... That use to refine your control over the throttle in eco mode is handy... It results in less spinning of tires and allows you to really crawl. I AM a convert, but I will still tell you that the hype is mostly in your head.

I loved my 1972 CJ-5, everything was analog. My throttle and clutch were cable actuated which means there was ZERO electronics between my foot and the engine/transmission.

Just removed mine from my 2021 392. Got a check engine light and lost all power on Poison Spider (Moab) my gas peddle lost communication from gas pedal to throttle body sensor. (That’s what the internet said from the DTC code.). PC might have just went bad. I have had it on since first month of owning 392. Until last week all was good, now I have a lighting bolt on my dash screen. Back to the drawing board. Great video Marco

I just installed the pedal commander in my 4runner, and what a difference in acceleration it has made. Not sure about fuel savings unless always in eco mode, but what's the fun in that. Happy trails.

Eco mode will only save you fuel is you drive slower (which it is designed for), but eco mode is great when wheeling as I mentioned in my main comment because it requires more pedal movement for a given amount of throttle opening. This allows you greater control which can allow you to maintain traction when you may have otherwise started spinning your wheels. If I am doing 60mph at 3/4 pedal in standard mode and 60mph at 100% pedal in eco mode, I am still going to use the same amount of fuel either way... I am just going to have my pedal shoved against the floor board in eco mode where I would not in standard mode. If I have the throttle open 100% in normal mode, I will not actually get more power from sport mode, I will just not have to push the pedal as far to open the throttle to a given point.

Even though I removed mine because it was just a testing unit I never had any problems with it. And in combination with the TaZer setting the 392 in forced 2WD I did get better mileage in the eco mode. I’m thinking on testing a different brand of throttle controller just to compare
