Absolutely love mine on my 3.6 WK2. I run City -4 or eco +2 on the regular. Ive had mine for over a year now and around 25,000kms of testing with it! In eco mode, i noticed an increase in MPG on my daily commute. Makes a great difference! Eco mode is great for offroad, little more responsive than the factory settings but much more control over the throttle. Dont forget to reset your adaptive throttle body every oil change to keep that throttle feeling great!!

I had one on my 14 SRT8 Challenger and I hid the module beneath the dash with Velcro. I then used my iPhone with Bluetooth to the PC

I have a lowly JKU and bought a throttle controller similar to this after adding a lot of weight. I finally bit the bullet, so to speak, and re-geared. I no longer use the throttle controller (it’s still installed, just not enabled). If you can find the means, I highly suggest you eventually find a good gears shop.

I got 4.88 gears when I got my 37's and its good but the pedal still feels laggy so I am hopping this just makes it feel a little better.

I downloaded the app, and the install instructions say to leave your key fob 20 to 30 feet away and after plugging in the wires leave the driver's door open for at least 15 minutes to allow the ecm to reset.

I had a Pedal Commander on my ‘18 Taco. It helped but the Tacoma transmission was junk. I’ve contemplated getting one for my Gladiator. Black Friday maybe.

I have a Jeep Cherokee L with a V8. The pedal delay is the same issue. Hopefully something like this can work for it. I love my power just hate the response.

Probably why so many pay insane prices for a V8 swap. I wanted a gladiator but not much of an upgrade from my 06 Grand Cherokee 5.7. If they made a gladiator with say 9,000 lbs of towing capacity it might be worth the price.

Hi: Great video. How is the response of the unit at higher speeds? I've got a 2021 Mojave and it's quite gutless at highway speeds and has a hard time staying in 8th gear unless the roads completely flat and I'm going with the wind. My fuel economy is also terrible averaging 15-16 L/100 Km. Would this product help with any of these issues? Would like your opinion before I regear it...running 34's in the winter. Thanks

Does not change gearing , mpg, rpm or anything other than the response time when you push the pedal. So with or without if you have hard time hitting 8th then will still not hit 8th. You have 37's I presume if can't hit 8th gear cause I have 23 Rubicon Gladiator with 35 and my buddy has the Mojave with 35 and we both have no issues getting 8th gear all the way to highway speeds at 120-130km/hr.

Id say it similar to sport mode. But it feels as though you can truly change it to exactly how you want it in-terms of acceleration

Sadly, the Gladiators are underpowered and the Pedal Commander isn’t going to change that. I ran a Pedal Commander in my V8 Hemi RAM 1500 and it definitely woke it up but it already had the power there on tap.

Interesting. I just test drove a stock Rubicon Gladiator as a potential mid-sized truck for my wife. The engine/transmission performance was very disappointing, especially compared to my V8 in the Grand Cherokee. The gladiator is rated for towing my ~4500lb trailer but I couldn’t bear the thought of using it the other 90% of the time as a daily driver.

This definitely adds fun to the daily driving experience. It’s similar to hitting sport mode on the v8. But with enough variability to dial it in to exactly what you want.

I highly doubt it plug and play, besides the dealer would never know you can unplug it in a matter of seconds
