I have this bike. I LOVE it, the AWD is overkill but it's so much fun going up steep dirt hills and fighting the front tire while doing it. I wanted a bike that could tackle basically whatever I wanted to throw at it, but ultimately I wanted something fun for me and my girlfriend to enjoy. I think Pedal missed an opportunity to really sell this thing as a tandem bike. It is one of the few out there that can keep 2 people on it and still hit a consistent 32ish mph with AWD on. I'd say the only problem is the battery. The capacity does not cut it considering the power that both of the motors consume, then add to the stress by adding a passenger and you get a battery that does not last very long. You will definently want to fork out the extra $ for an extra battery. I got this one because I wanted something that could just tackle hilly terrain with 2 riders. I thought long and hard about the deal I could have gotten with the Ariel Rider Grizzly but I literally told myself it's worth the extra 1k (extra battery + 300$ cost difference) for a bike that doesn't look like 💩 I'd slap a 1200W - 1500W motor on the back tire, mount an extra battery on it, and Pedal Electric would have themselves the ultimate tandem AWD ebike on the market. They ship with FedEx so bet on your derailer being bent upon arrival and their customer service is quite horrendous. They did pay for the damages but it left a horrible taste in my mouth upon first getting the bike. Pedal Electric has some work to do as a company, but overall, I really enjoy their product and I think they'll be successful in the future.

It's a combination of the Ariel Rider D Class and Grizzly. Like IDENTICAL. Makes me sad cuz I just bought a D Class. The worst part about the D Class is that it only has front suspension. Full suspension is such a nice feature. And the Grizzly has great range.. exactly the same range as this bike. But the Grizzly only comes in red.. black is a better color because it's neutral. This bike comes with a few additional features like built in security systems, turn signals... I like my D Class a lot so I don't think I'll sell it. But if I knew about this bike before buying my D Class, I probably would have chosen this. Purely because of range and full suspension. I love this style of bike. Once you mod it to your liking it's like riding an electric motorcycle. Your bike goes 55mph?? My heart would literally stop. I've maxed out at 36 mph but I almost never ride that fast. My sweet spot is like 20. But seriously I love these bikes. Cool video. You should definitely do a side by side comparison.

I agree, the black frame looks better to me too. Thanks for the detailed comment! I'm going to try and compare these two side by side if I get the chance. All these bikes are fun, and yes, 55 feels a bit a bit sketchy. Like you, my sweet spot is about 20-25... and lots of wheelies :D

That thing sounds like an Evel Knievel wind up toy. Too loud and annoying.

It’s a carbon copy of the d class lol i wonder when Ariel rider is gonna file a lawsuit
@JuicedJoyrides2 жыл бұрын
Haha is it really?
@akyerit2 жыл бұрын
There are allot of copy’s of this body style actually. It seems to be quite popular. Whether Ariel Rider was the first to do it or not, I couldn’t tell ya. Like the Zugo Rhino. Joulvert has a version and some rockstar company has one. If I had to guess they are all based off of some other bike

almost a $5,000 bike with tax and all.it must be still a lot of rich people. the way cops aren't doing your job anymore. I'd steal about five of those bikes make three grand on each one. vvif I was homeless that's what I would be doing. sell each one for three grand cash. there's a lot of stupid people out there leaving their cars running all that kind of stuff. cops aren't going to do anything so it's a free give me. all day everyday!
