TBH, saddles with less padding are better if you cycle longer than short distances… but most people prefer the kind of saddle you just bought anyways… I like Continental contact urban because they apparently have the least rolling resistance (therefore faster, or giving me less effort for same speed) and Singapore’s roads seriously don’t require much puncture resistance anyways. Ride bike, life good.

Totally agree with your choice of using continental contact urban. I was considering between continental and marathon racer. But I chose the latter because of the more "orange-y" tan walls just for aesthetics. Continental definitely more superior than marathon racers (in my opinion) for leisure rides too.

Pretty much covered all the parts that are good to change especially for the tyres. I'm using the Schwalbe One, which I find is an ideal tyre to achieve speed, comfort and weight reduction. However, the tradeoff is it is the least puncture resistance tyre among all other Schwalbe

Yup, you are right. If I'm building a performance bike, I will definitely go for ONE. So much more energy efficient and rolls really well.

Wow! Episode 2 is out! I’m quite impressed with the upgrades! Everything except the pedals. The stock pedals seem safer to me as I was cut and scratched by those mod Promend pedals 😢. Overall, I think the mods are very very nice! Can help me to mod mine? Getting a trifold soon!! Just sold my Rifle bifold. 😅😄 PS: yes, I recognise the rifle handle bar grips.

I’m getting either an Acceoffix or a Mantell (also from Acceoffix). I’m also considering getting a Leggero trifold from Jack bike store. Anyway, I’m taking my time to decide. It has been raining too often to ride any bike. Must select a bike/brand very carefully. 😄

Give some time to the original saddle for longer distance ride. Big saddle may not be that comfortable for longer few hours ride.

Check the axles of the hinge if it is light....most probably it is make of aluminium......if it is it may break under certain conditions.

You can just peel it off... the logos are just stickers . cheers! :)

@@raytiong2008 Haha I literally just peeled it off from the frame. If you are having some difficulties with the logo at the frame, you can spray some WD40, let it soak for few seconds first before peeling it. However, its not advisable to spray WD40 to remove the rim stickers from the wheels because you may contaminate/lube the brake pads from the brake.
