Rick Russie well, in general I just love pedalboard videos because I'm a helpless gear junkie. Ha Ha! Mainly, I see that Tech 21 Liverpool-- my board is built around the Leeds, and I'm always game for sansamp videos. Do you use it primarily as a drive pedal, or actually in place of an amp?

It’s my preamp, then the Big Sky acts as a cab filter. Stereo rig with no amp.

Very cool.. I love the delay and filter sweep. I just bought my first pedal, a Boss Dimension C DC-2w. I use it with my Nord Drum and triggers.. and I like it.. adds a spacey compression thickening effect. Thanks for posting this. Peace 🇨🇦

I want to try integrating drum pads into an acoustic kit someday with this kind of effect on the pads. If there was a way to put the carbon copy control on a pedal like a wah that would be cool to do real time (just use a secondary closed hi hat)

This was awesome! I checked out a couple of your other videos, especially the one on Reverb pedal comparison. To date, in your opinion, if I wanted to just get ONE reverb pedal and start experimenting with both my acoustic and electronic drums, would you recommend the Big Sky, Blue Sky, MXR Reverb, or BOSS RV-6? No limitation on creativity for sure, but I've read drums sound best with a Plate or Hall type of reverb. As such, I'd like a pedal that isn't TOO complicated or loaded with stuff I won't use. Rock on!

I personally don't think that delay and the rhythm section mix well, because the delay could be confusing when the bpm you're playing in is different than the delay oscillations. Especially with a band.
