Pedals And Effects: Mesmer Astral Delay by Keeley Electronics

Keeley released this crazy pedal on 4/20 and even if you're not a stoner, you need this Mesmer Astral Delay on your board ASAP! This is one of the crazier pedals we have had sent to us in a while, but it is incredibly musical and ingeniously designed. The Mesmer is, how we saw it, an octaver, sequencer, short delay sort of looper sound manipulator all in one small package!

Thank you guys so much for always TURNING THE KNOBS! Videos with mastered sound and well-lighted "artistic" cinematography are useless if it's a lot of lengthy, insufferable, self-involved jamming with only slight variations on just one aspect of a pedal that has a wide variety of parameters.

I was just looking for this pedal, and cannot find on Reverb or Ebay, but I think the Earthquaker Devices Arpanoid would probably fit the bill as a substitute.

you can do all of this except for the crucial looping bits on the EHX Deluxe Memory Boy. The looping makes it more complete as a sound to add to your arsenal, but it's still a little frustrating as a limited sound. that rhythm gets monotonous.

Biggest lie I ever read on youtube. Two waaaaay different animals. I've read various "similar to the Mesmer" pedals and this is so far away from the truth. Arpanoid = nah but closer than OBNE. Count to 5 = closer than Arpanoid. Rainbow Machine = closest but they are both cool in different ways.
