Pedasi Panama (Shops and Places in Pedasi, Pedasi Beaches, Nature and Animal Life In Pedasi)
Pedasi is a beautiful coastal village that in Panama and is commonly known as being a fishing region and is a paradise for nature lovers with its rolling hills, beaches and tropical feel. Pedasi is a top destination for expats as is Boquete. Quite a stark contrast between to the cosmopolitan Panama City, yet only a 5 hour drive away. Its also not the cool haven that Boquete is.

Pedasi is located along the South Eastern part of the Azuero Peninsula. The village is part of the Pedasi District as well as the Los Santos province.
The Pedasi District is divided administratively into:
Purio;
Mariabe;
Pedasí; being the municipal seat,
Los Asientos; and
Oria Arriba
The land of the Pedasí district has been used extensively for cattle farming; the cultivation of sorghum, corn, cantaloupe, rice and watermelon; and the coastal villages support a small fishing industry.
Average temperatures in Pedasi are 25-27 degrees Celsius year round and Pedasi receives relatively little annual rainfall compared to the rest of Panama. Even though the temperatures are high Pedasi’s ocean breezes have a cooling effect.
The area's local architecture is a combination of Colonial Spanish style and modern day masonry block.

I went to Pedasi in August and I had an amazing time. We all came from the USA and went to Isla Iguana, and it is so gorgeous. Venao beach is incredibly gorgeous, like something out of this world for surfers but also for non-surfers, the view, the atmosphere, everything is so nice and you feel like you are somewhere else. Pedasi is becoming the next place to be. If you've never been I highly recommend it.

We initially put a deposit on a piece of land in Pedasi as we were going to settle there but then the Oxford School closed and there wouldn't have been a school for our daughter to attend. I think Pedasi is an excellent retirement spot or a place to have a little holiday home. We absolutely LOVE Venao!

The best time of my life. From my best friend apartment in old Town Panama city, we decided to go swimming on iguana island. So we drove to Into the town .stated a few days.then drove around the rest of the area swimming the pacific Beach. During one swimming trip. My friend lost are car keys. In the ocean. The cellphone was in the car. We had a local get us in the car. He took 2 hours. He said no money, just your balboa beer. The rent a car company drove from Panama city to get us back on our way.it took a while, but , this was a fantastic week. I really look forward to seeing more of Panama next time I am able to fly to such a beautiful blessing of a country and people. Oh,I absolutely love old Town and the entire area of Panama city. 🇵🇦
