Pedenn ('prayer' in Breton), an old melodie learned from Yann-Fanch Kemener.
Filmed in Connemara during ten days of concerts and rehearsing.
The duo Muller & Munnelly reflects a shared love of deeply rooted folk music. David grew up surrounded by traditional Irish music of County Mayo. Ies in turn was drawn more and more to the roots of Irish music.
While traditional Irish music remains the main foundation, they play very unique music in an inimitable style that incorporates influences from jazz, Breton music and classical music, among others. Flute and accordion like you have never heard before!
